Dual tees (3rd set coming?)Dual basketsGreat mix of hole shapesLove that the front and back nine both start and finish near the parking lot.

Roc Roc
White tee - Beat up DX or KC Roc on a smooth RHBH turnover through the biggest gap on the left of the large tree in center.

In town, out of town
Shot variety is great.
In town, but almost has an out of town feel with great views.
Good use of elevation.
Multiple pin placements.
Difficult fairways/greens with O.B.
Minimal water
Holes 1,9,10,18 play nice traditional loops if you only have time to play 9, you're right...
Fairway Pusher
After reading this thread, I feel the need to chime in.
Recently our "big arm" course was pulled about a month before we were going to replant the course. Our design took the safety to top priority by improving how the course played around the multi-use facility.
it was already...

Diamond in the rough
Dual Tees.
Good mixture of "open" and wooded holes.
Multiple shot types needed throughout course.
In town.
Arrows on baskets directing to next tee.
Listed OB's can be modified easily to fit the type of round you're playing by tightening or spreading.
Some fairways can feel...

Under Construction!
Dual tee's (mostly paved)
In town
Plays fair to both RH/LH players
"Next Tee" arrows

Concrete tees
Manicured
Beginner friendly
Very multi-use park
Saw areas where I expected to see quality holes but non there
Lack of shot variety
Like the title says, Challenger. Most holes were the same shot over and over and over unless you get creative and like to try new things...

Different
It's in a cave.
Baskets - some cloth, some metal, kind of a variety
Tee Pads - sand, hard to get footing
BUSY = backups
There really isn't much to say about this. How often do you get to play a round of DG in a cave! If you're in the St. Louis area and have time, it is worth it just...

Holy S#!* (literally)
18 hole par is about 62.
The par 4/5's are what I call true 4/5's and not just by distance (except 18)
Great elevation changes
Wide variety of open, woods, mixed holes
Un-matching baskets (it is a guy's back yard though)
Cows and their poop
Electric Fence
I'll be totally...

Cool
Nice tee pads and baskets
Good signage
Elevation, elevation, elevation
9 holes
Hole 9 finishes too close to rock wall that will tear up a disc if it crashes into it
Can be a very busy part of campus
Course pulled during home football games and concerts on the hill
I enjoy this course for...

Great Course
Well marked (tee signs and basket arrows to next hole)
Dual tees (fine gravel, but well maintained)
Course changes difficulty with seasons
Shot variety needs (bring everything you have and more)
Fairways (tightly wooded, but fairways stand out)
A couple fairways along gravel drive...

Eh
Well maintained. Clean greens. Elevation changes were nice to see. Tee pads were natural, but movable so not to warn out. Multiple pin locations.
Tee signs were nice, but some holes were blind and there was no indicator on which position the pin was in. Finding tee markers was difficult...
