Lol yeah, I found some of the clubs and the tournaments after the post. My main concern was the bugs and what not. The only thing I could find when searching was someone that was vacationing to the area in 2009.
I wasn't expecting a response like that chained and I really appreciate it. I was...
G'day
I'm considering Tampa as one of my moving destinations in a few months and was just curious as to what the DG scene was like around Tampa.
I've heard the heat is bad around summer time, but it's not necessarily that great in KC either. My main concern would be bugs, gators, and snakes...
I stopped into Glide while in Madison, WI and I highly recommend it. Great selection of discs and cool people.
There's a course right across the street, and they have discs set aside in the back that you can take over to the fields next to it and try out.
In the wind, or when playing next to hazards I'll usually throw a Z Nuke. I just seem to have more control with it.
If I have a tailwind or no wind and the shot is fairly open I've been going with a Prodigy D2.
Second dye, had some trouble transferring to the disc and didn't get every piece put back in the right place. Considering that and being scared of the prodigy letters, I still like the way it turned out.
The only bad thing about opening after work at 2am is that I want to throw them, lol.
The river and renegade are kinda ugly, but I'm going to dye them tonight I believe.
I need to start researching effects, and invest in some more colors. I'm looking forward to my next dye, but I'm not the most artistic so I'll probably just stick to simple stencils and plain black dyes for now.
How many times can you reuse one pack?
