Better than Expected
I was looking to practice for an upcoming tournament on a open course. Accidentally read the review for the other course on the property that says "open with light woods". Not the case for this course as the first 7 holes have moderate to tight tunnels. Really enjoyed the...

Pamperin Re-design
I like the new design at Pamperin Park. Majority of holes have a technical tee shot that requires shaping the shot. Good mix of birdie holes and longer birdie/bogey. Risk/Reward is definitely in play. Great use of the elevation changes in the park. I would rate it higher...

Needs Play
The redesign of O'hauser will excite some and upset others. Some excellent, challenging holes have been added: 3 Blue Tee, 5 Gold Tee, 7 Gold, 9 Blue/Gold, 12 Gold, 15 Gold. Multiple pin placements is a plus. Legitimate par 4's and 5 depending on the pin positions. Update 8/26: New...

Short then Long
Really great driving holes for 350-450' holes. Great use of the limited elevation in the middle of the course. Threw all types of shots: Short, long, Hyzer, Anhyzer, Tight, Open.. Great risk reward with a few of the two shot Par 4's. Most greens seemed to be in very good...

Good use of park
Great use of space in a multi-use park. Good mix of short and long holes. Very nice driving alleys on several holes. Longer, two shot holes had some obstacles that made placement of drive important. 300-400 foot shots had good variety from the white tees. Short holes had...

One of the Best in WI
Great mix of holes for length, righty, lefty, straight. Really like some of the two shot holes and the opportunity to throw long drives.
Lack of elevation changes is kind of nit-picking, but they definitely make up for it in other ways. Heard this in other reviews, but we...

Being Redesigned
Redesign of the course is planned due to park changes. Four holes in the woods are being replaced, but we hope to gain the old soccer and rugby fields. If all goes well, might see some changes for opening day 2010.

Down Size Me
Good location, walking distance for many young kids. Some good holes play on the side, up and down a sledding hill.
Need to make this a sweet 9 hole with multiple tee pads. Too many holes where you can lose your disc in the river.

Tale of two Sides
Excellent use of available land. Long tunnel shots on back nine are some of the more challenging holes in the area. Need every drive in the book. High, low, long, straight, hyzer, thumber, you name it.
Loss of significant trees over the years on the front nine. Redesign on...

Longer Course for Fox Valley
Better than average length for the area courses. Good mix of short technical holes and available water.
Still only 15 holes. Plans are to add three more for the front 18 and an additional recreational 9 in an open area.
The course can be lengthened and made...
