not sure if i remember seeing it in this thread or not but has anyone tried using hair gel as a bed instead of shaving cream then add the dye on top and swirl it around? seems like it would allow the dye to sit on top much better if thickened a bit and the gel shouldnt disolve out either.

im so jealous of you guys and the marble dyes, each time ive tryed a marble dye it comes out super dull or not at all and when i see amazing work like ghdiscgolf, dan, and the other amazing artitst i just wanna go sit in a corner and cry lol.

http://customdiscgolfdyes.com/ has their method using idye poly instead of rit. They mix the dye with rubbing alcohol and then brush it on the stencil.
the design im doing does have separation in the red and blue, so im not worried too much about the colors blending. Im hand cutting this and was hoping i didnt have to remask and cut out the design again.
thanks DTP, was afraid of having to remask. I have high hopes for this dye even though it will only be my 6th attempt at a dye but it will be first multicolor dye.

lol ya same here. Have seen a few people throwing with both but i think its just an alternate from using forehand. There are a lot of left handed holes at the local course.
i think most if not all stamps will still have a ghost effect to them when the dye is applied. Dont think there is anything we can do to change that, but im not sure. Ive only just started dying and have only done 5 discs and been playing around with new techniques.
