You should be able to reach 300'-350' with a Teebird with proper form and such or at least i've been told so. I've always been under the impression that Wraiths are for people who can throw in the 400's for long straight drives.

I also have had the same pains, i'm pretty sure it's from not following through on your throw.

I think a beginner disc thread should be stickied. It just seems like we are going in circles with the constant, what should i get as a beginner? Not smashing any beginners, because i am still a beginner...just giving some $.02

How much does each disc weigh?

I agree with BrotherDave, learning how to generate that great snap really helps with your overall game or at least i think so.
