You guys that love the Culverin, what's your avg distance with these? I'm throwing my Saints ~350ft consistently so I'm wondering if these would be a workable OS for me.
And it looks like the consensus is that it's more OS than Saint Pros?
Ah man, I was going based on this http://www.inboundsdiscgolf.com/content/?page_id=431&id=LR192837O51652064127028777921OO
I guess it still fits a slot I didn't have filled yet. I'll give it a while to beat in some more.
So I just bought an orange 174 plasma skull boy Tesla and I feel like it is definitely not the same disc you guys are talking about.
It's super flat and crazy os. Like almost firebird os, almost. It wants to fade as soon as I let go of it. This is at 300ft +/- 15 and I have to throw it way...
What's up with the overmolds lately? I got a proton Alias about 1.5yrs ago when I first started and it's fine. Fast forward to now, within the past few months I've purchased a Fission Photon, Plasma Tesla, Plasma Insanity and Proton Insanity. The overmold on these new guys feels a bit chalkier...
I get a snap sound too sometimes, but I'm pretty sure it's only when my fingernails aren't trimmed and it's the sound of them catching the bottom of the rim and/or flashing.
Just got done with a TC. This is similar to my experience. All of my 30ft+ misses were to the right because my judges would typically fade. Still even with power, it didn't burn. Not as glidy as a judge for me.
I had a 168 gold line fury as my first starter driver. It's an understable 9 speed with tons of glide. Flew excellent for me. Then as my form/arm speed improved, it became my first hyzerflip disc (and farthest flying at 350ish ft). It's not the best in wind, but I'm still trying to find a more...
I may be slow but I just only now realized that the Axiom logo is the top down view of the 1616 helicopter.
I always thought it was some kind of weird cellular biology thing and it kind of put me off, but now I think it's awesome.
I need some help choosing a photon flavor. Right now I have a 155 fission that flies dead straight and fades thrown flat at my 325ft of power in no wind. In a moderate wind, I'll get a fart of turn. Also keep in mind I'm at high altitude (5000ish ft).
What is my best option if I'm looking to...
I bag a few compasses and one of my coworkers has a verdict that I've thrown. It depends on the wind and the hole but when thrown flat, the compass will turn a bit more (not burn though) and just not fade very much for me. I can usually compensate by either hyzering a bit more or aiming more to...
