Technically yes, realistically no. Teebirds (and rocs) used to be flat. Molded in new plastic blends, they became very domey. The teebird3 just restores the mold back to being flat, as intended.

Having one set of smaller “pro” baskets that travel on tour with the players would not be overly expensive nor time consuming. These baskets can temporarily replace the standard baskets during these big time events.
