Bummer, I was a little excited about trying out the flak-x. But what you described was a exactly what I've been hunting for. A true criticism of the bag.

I'm currently rocking Dynamic Discs Ranger. The bag is great minus a few features. Mostly annoyances. So I'm curious if the upgrade is worth the price.
My small annoyances with the ranger is:
1) Lack of rain fly
2) Side loader for main compartment
3) Tends to fall over somewhat easily
4)...
Grip. Great condition. With rain fly. No bag tag. Black and letters are sharpied. I think it's the L series..? Not first run. But before the big bold brand name all over the place.
I carry a dual pack for mostly tournament play so it doesn't get that much use.
2 things not to repeat:
1) the frame is starting to pop out and i don't know why. I mean doesn't affect anything, but in my opinion, its just looks dumb and am embarrassed to carry sometimes.
2) tip compartment...
which I highly doubt. Very under rated discs in my opinion. I wanted to throw them, but I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a bad idea. losing a buck.
