Pathfinder is extremely good in that workhorse mid spot. Hope it works for you.
Haven’t tried the mana yet myself, have a beat aura pathy, and picked up a base mustang to use for the winter and hope to beat in. But I usually just throw a FH with a fairway instead of US mids.

I don’t have one yet but the word on FB is they are a tick more stable than a 1.2/1.3 sirius, and seem to be fairly straight-stable. Seems like they follow the trend of looking like shrykes.
Have you tried a halo wraith? Most runs of halo seem to be a fairly grippy star.
FWIW in a batch of star and pro wraiths from innova that I think are recent production, the pro was on the slicker side and the star quite gummy. Star had better grip for me. Everyone's hands differ though...
Wild speculation = the slight puddle tip has a fairly thin raised shoulder that could act like a spoiler. that reduces glide the harder its thrown. Essentially a very mild version of the stego design.

IME dome seems to effect several wraith flight characteristics, but with minimal (or offsetting effect) on total distance.
Domey = straighter flight, less turn, gliding fade. Could be "glidier," but also have more drag. Bad for crosswinds/swirling winds, especially if angles...
I have had a lot of variety from star wraiths recently, with both dome and plh all over the place. Mellower seems to be more common, including out of the box bombers, but a couple that are destroyer-light. Bought one bottom stamp from the factory store that is poptop and more OS than a champ...
Premium proxy flies similar to an electron envy for me, at the same 175ish weights. I throw soft neutron. Electron envy starts off slightly more OS, but playing wooded course quickly beats less stable.
