I wouldn't say that, I used to have a beat to hell dx gator that I threw on the same lines as a gold line fuse. Anything base plastic will get understable with enough use.
Flipping through discs at a Walmart around me I noticed some ont. dx cobras so either they are still molding them or they are getting rid of old stock. They don't have patent numbers, but I don't know if that means anything.
From what I've heard Star blend is actually cheaper to produce than Champion, they just charge more for it. I don't know if it quite gets down to pro levels of cheap though.
For me a Boss is too likely to turn in a headwind, I'd throw something that naturally doesn't want to turn if I was you. Options would be things like an Xcal, Enforcer, T-rex, etc. Personally I use a 169g Enforcer.
