It's still too fast for me. I'm waiting on placing my next order until the Pekapeka comes out.
Moose do you throw the Kotare at all? If so wonder how that flies for you.
A new driver mold scheduled for release in June. Flight characteristics roughly along the lines of a Beast or Valkyrie - basically a ten speed slightly understable control driver.
I haven't had a chance yet but will be importing a shipment from RPM fairly soon and will include 10-15 Kotukus. I am waiting on the Pekapeka to be released before making the order though as it's a 1x year occurrence. RocX3 Bard flight sounds nice although not sure that would replace my Buzzzes...
I am on board this train. RPM has been supporting disc golf growth in southeast Asia and I have loved throwing and handling their molds.
The atomic Kea is my go-to disc, it flies like a longer zone but with a big bead and a unique hand feel. I've replaced my Eagles with Huias: I have three from...
I have three max weight Big Z Roaches (with the roach smoking a roach stamp) and it is the definition of a stable disc. It will flip to flat if really powered up but it doesn't turn over and has good lss.
My friend, who throws with oat, complains to me that his roach is flippy. But it is not so.
I throw Huias in atomic and cosmic. For my arm speed (throwing them around 330 bh and 300 fh) they have good HSS, just a touch of turn, and a strong dumping finish. Owing to the disc having a slightly taller profile than an Eagle/Teebird, I especially like it for forehands as I feel I can really...
The core of my bag is champion Eagles and Z Buzzzes.
I find the recent run champ Eagles take around 6 months of moderate use to soften to a point where they fly somewhat unlike an overstable brick. Another year of use and it will start to show a degree of turn and glide, improving with time...
This is an interesting and well-articulated take. I see a lot of wisdom in what you've said.
I'm trying to reconcile this with my belief that the best time to develop your max distance potential is as early as possible. That is, build a canon as early as possible and then learn to shoot it, to...
If you're operating a business in a booming market where every manufacturer and downstream retailer is constrained by capacity (demand >> supply) that's not a time to stop investing in sales and marketing. I expect most major manufacturers will be looking to raise new debt financing to support...
Huia - I bag it in atomic plastic and considering to add a cosmic as well. It's my all purpose backhand/forehand driver of choice, Eagle/Teebird-ish in flight but made in better plastic. The disc is taller than those Innova molds which I find allows me to really sink my grip in deep for powerful...
Mostly MVP family recommendations in here but I can personally speak to the Discraft Roach as a stable, glidey bomber putter that can hold up to full power throws. I throw them in Big Z and can get it out to around 260. For reference I throw a Buzzz around 280.
