3 Neutron Dimensions(all peach 173, backups)
3 Electron Nomads(pink 175s, trying to switch my putting putters to something from mvp)
Neutron Entropy, orange 175(Plasma has lost some stability)
Neutron Deflector, peach 176(haven’t tried before. Looking to fill the gap between Entropy and Motion)
I bag opto pures and got myself a plasma proxy. Can’t really tell a diffence in flight other than pure needs a bit more height. So now pure is gone as I play a lot of wooded courses where high tree kicks usually spell disaster. Use them up to 300’.
Such a fun disc. Bought it two months ago for the heck of it and it has since kicked every understable putter out of the bag. Powers down really nice. I only use it for under 300’ shots though as the flight gets less predictable with power. Effortless turnover standstill shots and crazy high...
Yeah should’ve read the reviews before buying(172g neutron). The thing flies like a 2nd run fd which is fine but not what I was looking for. Mine just flies straight, doesn’t turn but holds annies on 320-350’ throws. I’d give it maybe 6,5 4 0 1,5 ratings.
Had a round with the amp today and I’ll take back the ”fresh thunderbird” statement; way less fade. I’ll give it maybe 8/4/-0.5/1. Soooo straight up to 400’.
Favourite shot was a 550’ downhill hyzerflip on a frozen rope (ended up missing the eagle putt ofc).
When it starts to show some actual...
Just got an Amp as my first mvp disc ever. A white 175 neutron. Was looking for nice understable disc to my firebird/thunderbird lineup but the thing flies like a fresh thunderbird(thrown flat it goes straight 350ft and has a nice forward fade at the end). Not a bad disc by any means, very nice...
We run rentals too and can second on using premi plastics. We got a dozen custom-stamp (seem dyed actually) sets from trilogy that we’ve been happy with: Pure-warship-river. All in gold line/tournament. They look and fly still just fine after 3 seasons.
For the next sets I might change warship...
Just me but you most likely haven't yet developed any bad habits so keep working on it. It's harder to fix your form after a few years of throwing bad with all the musclememorythings etc. IMO.
But ofc have fun also!
Yeah! Already carrying a beat medium pure for turnovers and hit 'n stick approaches. A 300' late turn shot with it is a thing of beauty!
I'm leaning to buy two max weight(everything I throw not incl. Max D drivers is max weight) neutrons. Courses here are rough covered with trees and rocks so...
