I've been putting with beaded discs for a decade. Moved from the KC Pro Aviar to the Wizard and finally settled on the Judge several years ago.
The Judge felt better than the other two and I finally realized I like shallower, flatter putters. I fan my middle, ring, and pinky fingers under the...
I'd suggest the Mint Bullet in Eternal plastic. I've been driving and approaching with it for a couple weeks now and it's been great. Not as shallow as the Envy but certainly not deep dish. A micro bead so tiny it's pretty much not there. A tick more HSS and LSS compared to the Judge. It handles...
This is entirely possible. I've been noticing lately I seem to be throwing drives just a tad nose up. No idea what has shifted in my form but I need to find it. I'll keep the Volt in my bag while I work on it. Thanks for pointing it out.
Hey, all. I'm very new to the MVP world. Recently picked up some overmold stuff to play around with, one of which is the Volt. I have one in Neutron and one in Plasma. I thought by the numbers and the reviews I'd read, it would fly a lot like my Rivals or Instincts.
However, they're way more...
Yeah, that's a good call. Something dead nuts straight is pretty much indispensable. I love throwing mids and putters, so I'm perfectly fine keeping an Envy and a couple Proxies in the bag.
I like the idea of this. Similar feel for all three. Next best thing to using just one mold. I have a Pilot in what my wife derisively refers to as "the disc room." I'll have to dig it out and see how it does for me.
If I remember correctly, it felt different from the Judge but not totally...

Broken Shoulder I have always carried two putting putters that are strictly for putting, never thrown.
I'll typically have 2 or 3 different molds for throwing, and it's never the same mold as my putting putters.
Shrug.
This is where I am now, and getting more comfortable...
Thanks for the reassurances, everyone. I feel pretty comfortable with my new setup now. It really resonated with me when a few of you pointed out that putting grip usually differs from throwing grip. No reason to think it would translate perfectly.
I've always liked having a single mold that I used for both putting and throwing. It made sense from a mold-minimizing standpoint: if I could putt with it and also use it for tee shots and approaches, awesome. Simple and effective. One disc that always felt the same in my hand, and it covered a...
I have a couple Links which I haven't thrown in a while. But they do feel pretty similar to a Judge. My only complaint is I don't think they come in premium plastic, which is what I like to throw from the tee.
Hi, all. I've been putting with Judges for quite a few years now and they've always fit my hand really well. Lately, I find myself wanting something that's a tick more overstable, for both putting and throwing.
I've tried to find something with similar hand feel but so far I haven't come...
So I sort of suck at putting. I'm also not great at driving or approaching, but let's focus on shots inside the circle for now.
I'm right-handed and I putt from a stagger stance, with a hybrid style. Mostly push but with a little elbow and wrist break to impart a bit of spin. I've watched lots...
