Not the pits
This course makes good use of the terrain changes to keep each basket interesting. Some elevated baskets on tires, some swinging baskets. some pits.
No shade, no water. you have to hop a curb to park.
placements of signs make the course fairly easy to follow. Played in October...

emerging course
Nestled in a valley just past the runway this course is a nice compliment to the other course in the area with not quite as much altitude issues. The benches at each tee were awesome. Many trails to next tee were marked. The course has a nice variety of shots with good use of...

Great Stop off Course
Easy to get to course close to the interstate but far enough off to feel like you are really near the mountains. Great use of shrubs to add some challenge to this course. I can imagine when things green up the challenge will improve.

Floppy
I have 5 kids. I recommend a floppy putter. I think Gateway has some super soft putters. The floppy disc tend to be a bit under-stable for me but go straighter for the young kids. Plus when the hang on to long and smack you in the head it doesn't hurt as much.
Lighter weight is nice...

Play the Mountains
The most unique part of Colorado is the Mountains. The variety of shots you can get from elevation changes is wonderful. I recomend coming through the southern part of the state and playing in Pagosa Springs, Monte Vista, and Alamosa. Check us out on the map.
