Calibrates itself at a moment of motionlessness? This seems bizarre. I don't think many people have a similar point in their swing where the disc is only "feeling gravity". Not with the disc in an identical position at least

This all makes me kind of curious now. How many pros actually use range finders in tournament play? My experience watching a ton of disc golf would say almost none of them.

I do understand what you are saying, but I think a lot of this type of analysis of what physical positions you see people get into is the wrong path in the end. Thinking about what your body is doing leads to this type of issue. I bet you any amount of money that pros don't think like this at...

I do understand that part, but HOW did they model the difference between -1 and -4 nose angle, etc? That is what Im just generally curious about because that sounds like a beast of an undertaking to do legitimately.

For sure. My Dad just got his tech disc and Im super stoked to use it for specific things. For what I want, the numbers don't really matter as long as they are actually measuring what they say they are, and have consistent output given the same swing. I want it for measuring consistency only...

Haha Ive never played this one, but my Dad did and I think every single hole is like this. There is another course in the springs called Sand Creek that is basically the same. We have some really nice ones too though.

Is there any info about how they created this simulator? I am very skeptical of its accuracy. Im not trying to be negative either, Im just curious how they actually attempted to model all of this.

If you want to get really, really silly with hyzer angles, try a Signal maybe. I bought a green neutron signal a few weeks ago and it is by far the most understable disc off the shelf that I have ever seen. You can do very silly things with it.
