This guy Jeremy getting bashed on a bunch Facebook disc selling/trading groups.. smh
Idk anything about it, but i am kinda laughing because the real issue users are experiencing is lack of feedback, which this site has had since the beginning of my disc golf career. score.
Anyone got stories...
anyone want to bet plastic that Uli isnt even on the chase card after tomorrows round? Dude couldnt finish if his life depended on it, too busy buying and selling to noobs on fb
haha.
How to spot a SF DGC member:
1) Has a grip bag
2) Carries 30+ discs
3) Tries to buy and sell CE like its a commodity market
4) Etiquette police
5) Rated < 900
6) Throws side arm flex shots for distance.
I have made $200 last year in script to then buy plastic with after the tourney (I played 1 pdga tourny in AM). even if that was cash, i spent nearly $125 just to register for pdga and the tourney, not to mention the 20+ discs ive bought. side note most local pros in my area that play 15+ events...
I asked Millennium for sponsorship info and they pretty much gave me this info (paraphrasing here)
You don't have to be 1100 rated to get sponsored. Disc Golf is about spreading good vibes and expanding the sport. Hold a few tourneys, get some school programs started, get city funding, etc...
^^ the sad part about this, and Ive mentioned it before although not on these boards.... Is that if there was a way to easily buy JUST the player packs for tourneys, the cash generated could goto the pro pot or even back to the hosting club. Instead this revenue is going into this fb guys...
Yes they should of course. On a side note I just heard the pdga is also looking into mandating disc locks to prevent nose up throws should the discs fall into adolescent hands.
