It’s not a pig. You’re right it probably is overstable if newer and heavy. It’s been 15 years since I was throwing mine but I’m remembering it was lighter and seasoned. It’s from a time when the stamp said “long range driver”
Coyote!
Great for beginners and pros alike
You can make it do anything you want and angle control is key to establish early.
(Especially nowadays since everyone has an anhyzer snap from throwing discs that are too overstable)
Flies like a $$$ glidey beat in roc and the Champ plastic keeps...
If it’s the PLUS mold the rim will angle out on the underside, compared to most that are closer to vertical inside.
It pretty much makes discs FAKE overstable by coming out of the hand differently. As an added bonus it’ll throw your snap timing off with your other regular discs when you go...
The weather conditions are what changes the flight. Not because the discs are softer. Discs glide farther and are less flippy in the heat. Cold weather makes everything more understable
He didn’t lose it so I don’t he wants it back. It was a first run PD he gifted to a pro here years ago. I just figured his name and pdga as his past thrower would add value.
So I have the opportunity to trade for a 1st run PD. Team Discmania stamp. It has Jussi’s name and PDGA # in the rim plus my dumb friends ink. Disc is 7/10 with no major nicks.
What would something like that be worth even? I love the way it flies but would maybe be afraid to use it.
People will buy and throw whatever McBeth is pushing. The Thunderbird is the perfect example. It’s measurements and flight are essentially an early Z regular Avenger (which is OOP for discraft).
But put McBeth and the “bird” suffix and you’re golden
That’s true and there weren’t speed numbers back then so who knows what the official numbers are on that mold anyway. Bottom line is the ‘05 players cup tracker was a better more consistent disc for that spot than what has come out since.
And for many the speed 7-9 flies similar, but for elite...
The original trackers were a speed 7 teebird like disc. Slightly overstable brand new and beat in slow as a workhorse disc like a good teebird. These trackers that have come out since are completely different. The raptor is more overstable and faster and a completely different slot.
So what you’re saying is a disc that has the exact same flight numbers and made in the same factory is part destroyer?!?!?!?
*GASP*
We’ll see if this printing misstep brings the hype train to a halt...
If you tell me the Scorpius or Falcon or Pharaoh has destroyer parts too I’ll show you my...
