MF MD3s flat or more domey? I might grab a couple pink just because I like the look, but would like to have them in the bag for function and feel, too.

    [Discmania] Official Ask Discmania Thread

I remember reading that the glow FDs were supposed to be quite a bit less stable than other plastics, but the three I have are pretty stable. I was hoping for something glidey and a bit flippy for uphill shots longer than a mid, rollers I could get down quickly, and of course, the dreaded long...

Duh. Thanks! I'm from a disc golf generation sandwiched between lids and all these new companies, plastics, etc.

MD3 nut here...what is MF? Also, any colors of the new MD3s that break in faster than others (I'd buy d-line if they sold it...used to love my flat dx rocs, and MD3s replaced my rocs for their great stable flight but better grip/feel).

    [Discmania] new md3

I learned from my KCP Roc mistakes (only had a couple of the 10 and 11x, and then they were gone forever), and bought 12 P MD3s. For me, they're perfection, and at the rate I cycle (very slowly, as I'm pretty busy, and expect to get busier with twins on the way), these will last me a looooong time.

    2015 Pro Worlds

You sound like an absolutely blast to play with  As I wrote before, the spirit of the rule is to keep people from gaining an advantage by playing from a location other than their lies. In the open field, and unless there is uneven ground, mud, etc. located directly behind your...

    2015 Pro Worlds

Open field foot fault calls are disgusting. The rule is in perfect place to prevent people from gaining a competitive advantage by stepping away from obstacles that might obstruct their throws or footing, as happens when folks let their foot slide a bit to the side of their mini to get our from...

    2015 Pro Worlds

I think we're again seeing something in our sport that is seen in many individual professional sports around the world (tennis and ball golf come to mind). There will always be a large group that enjoys seeing a dominant stretch of performances from a single player, and will cheer on that...

    Maple Hill Open

Disc karma. I watched Ricky and Nikko argue OB after OB call against Paul and Feldberg at last year's JO until they were blue in the face. Paul generally let them have them, which definitely had an impact on all of their paydays. Doubt goes to the player, which is usually the case unless...

    Improperl marked OB lines...

Has happened in tourneys here, too, on a hole where a gutter represents the OB line, but travels only 370' down the left side of the 400' hole. Someone bombed past it, and we decided it was in, because it crossed past the end of the gutter, and it wasn't marked as infinity on the map (simply...

2015 Beaver State Fling presented by Keen Footwear

Thanks to all the videographers for their awesome work. As others have, I've really been enjoying the CCDG coverage, and I especially appreciate the quick uploads and post commentary. You guys are working your butts off, and it shows! Also, thanks to all the guys and gals doing video work for...

Do you think you'll keep the MD in the bag despite seasoning MD3s? I have a load of beautiful P-lines that are getting PERFECT, and as a former Roc thrower, I wonder if I won't simply end up with a bag full of Ps and a single C or Glow for wind/downhill/hyzers.

Without starting a bunch of "VS." threads, can throwers or reps please comment on the MD in comparison with discs like the Mako/Mako3? I LOVED the feel of the Mako3 in the hand, but found it a bit touchy for my swing consistency. A touch more torque resistance with similar flight...

Sounds like the 2nd run, as I have a couple of 'em. Glidey, and less stable than most other runs I've thrown. Nice plastic, though. Feels like the same goodness my champ panthers are made of...

[Discmania] Power Driver Freak PEEDEE Thread

I include a single pearly 3rd run as my longer firebird, or mega OS teebird, as I have both of those discs in my bag. I have better distance with my wraiths to go big, and better control with my tb and fb, so the PD is a utility disc in my bag. Great disc, but the more OS versions pair nicely...
