Well, generally the faster the disc, the lower the profile/depth will be. So I doubt there are any (many?) mids/drivers that will have a taller profile than a putter.
It's sort of the reason why some folks find putting with a classic Roc or Buzzz so comfortable.
Also grip style plays a role...
For a complete list, I'd add disc counter/clockwise spin.
Might be splitting hairs, but disc trajectory. Ie, I will throw a tomahawk around 1:00, but will vary the release point for a higher/lower trajectory for a fade left or fade forward...at least that's what I think I am thinking...
This was my issue/concern regarding ethical procedures. No single player, should have the powers of a Director (as described in 805.01), with regard to their fellow competitors in their division.
Beyond this, I do think a TD can 'ethically' organize (raise funds, design course, etc) an event...
No, I disagree.
I realize (and largely accept) the realities of dg competitions and appreciate the efforts towards creating such opportunities....but yes, there is something fundamentally unethical about having a player, with the powers of the Director, playing in their own event regardless...
Yea, went with 2 for misplay assuming the guy finished the hole. (which again, I now think is not the correct/applicable rule in this case...so lets set that aside for now)
An aside, it's implied but I don't think a thrower has to actually declare they are taking optional relief. But I could...
I think that is what op was saying...that is 9 min of labor vs 12 min of labor.
We could make the counter argument that with a greater number, comes the greater likelihood of losing/searching for discs. Not a direct impact on the game per se, but is the effort put forth in searching for any...
A few thoughts....
1) Dope signature.
2) Personally, I prefer premium plastics for putter drivers. (alliteration?) They seem to hold onto their HSS longer as LSS decreases over time, something I'm looking for off the tee.
3) At least for ESP, it seems to take months, if not years, to get it...
Very very unlikely.
Firstly, no one calls a foot fault on any 'putt-jump'. As though somehow everyone that performs this dynamic motion, does so legally... The tradeoff between giving this benefit of the doubt, vs one of the most basic tenets of this game, is something I disagree with.
And...
All I was trying to say is that you do have a statistically higher chance of getting bit by your dog than by a shark. I just didn't want folks berating my good shark based off your bad information.
