Close to town.
Good Parking.
Easy to follow course.
Good beginner course.
Parking at Elm Parking lot during the school year w/o an NMC parking permit will land you a $15.00 ticket even if the lot is totally empty.

Something for everyone
The "flow" is linear and logical. Signs are accurate and clear.
Tees have benches and are concrete. Woods are mature and well kept.
Course is regularly maintained (generally clean for the heavy use of the course).
Outstanding shots:(particularly 8, 9, 14, 15, 19, &...

A tail of two courses
As the other reviews have mentioned, this course is really two totally different courses in one.
Front 9: Baskets (DGA) and Concrete Tees are in good shape. Not a bad warm up.
Lawn is well maintained, nice park.
Back 9:

Most Baskets have...

Up in them dar Hills
From precision shots through trees, to dramatic elevation differences Hanson Hills has something for everyone. Starting near the parking lot the course stays flat for the first couple holes and varies in and out of trees. At Tee 3 the course begins the first of three accents...

Easy In, Easy Out
This heavily wooded quick 9 hole course is a looped course starts near the parking lot (next to the Volleyball Courts) and ends right back at the 1st Tee. All the Tees markers (small wooden signs) were in place. There had been rain before I got to the course, so the park was...

Fun!
The site flows in a nice pattern around the disc golf parking lot (designated on the map they give you when you pay for your day pass). Most of the baskets have some tree chopping potential, but the course wasn't overly technical for this beginner.
I played with 4 other frolfers on a warm...

Better than expected
Interesting use of trees surrounding some baskets making the last shots on some a bit tricky. Some nice distances for a small park. A decent site for newcomers. Not a lot of people when I visited.
Flat very flat. Some rain the night before, the soil was spongy and wet...

Nice righty course
Constant terrain change. Plenty-o-hills. Easy to follow course/signs. Variations between tight and cavernous areas within the woods. Several sites in the beginning, in the middle, and at the end in open fields. Not heavily played in Early May (60F late afternoon on a Wed)...

Yawn
Concrete Tees, Wood Directional signs, Mix of open and woods
From Tee 1 to Tee 18, there's a big hike back... would be nice if it had ended closer to the beginning.
Not a fan of the Plantation Pines.... Sorta ugly. I think Tee 9 had the arrow pointing to the wrong direction for the basket...
