Asa complete noob, I'm a bit curious why so many steer him away from the Wolf?
I woulda' thought, "If you like the wolf when it's not beat, buy it in a durable plastic... maybe get 2 of them" would be the answer.
Sorry, just curious what the problem with the wolf is for him in people's opinions?
Okay, thanks guys, I wont ditch the BH just yet.
Since I definitely like using FH for throwing curvy ****, is there a driver that is good for people who don't want to own a lot of disks, but throw both ways. A gazelle maybe?
So I'm pretty new to the game. Trying to find my footing. I have been throwing RHBH this whole time. My distance isn't very good, but I can get it to go pretty straight without a run-up.
However, more and more often I find myself throwing forehand when I need to throw a roller, a hyzer or an...
I went out to help work on this park today. Pretty fun! I'm a complete noob, but to my eyes it's a nice looking park I'll be staying far away from till I'm better ;)
As a beginner... I certainly wouldn't feel like I had anything to add.
Although, to the above point, I suppose that knowing that the couse is somehow bad or good for beginners from the perspective of an actual beginner would be cool. I know we accidentally did Zilker out of order the first time...
In another thread I got a lot of advice to go out and start playing only with putters. I thought I might do this tomorrow, but for some reason I feel like driving with a floppy putter will just lead to frustration and rage. You CAN drive with a soft putter right? The few times I've tried it got...
Oh, I forgot to mention. Today I put my driver aside halfway through and just threw the Gator. Knowing it would go left if I was throwing it right helped me plan ahead. I feel like I was getting par more this way and did the best in our group overall score wise. I still threw some wild ones, and...
I appreciate the advice about the putter. I might go out and throw only the putter by myself sometime. I practice putting daily, but if it can improve my form I definitely should use it more.
Today we went out and I got par a few times and even a birdie. Other times I was way off and had like...
Yeah she is really weak and small. We got her the lightest discs we could. I can just as easily avoid the Shark for her though. Seems like I got better recommendations here.
Yeah, we've been playing horse every day with a pole. Mentioned this in another thread. I was mostly hoping to find out...
Yeah, I'm sure that's the case. I do drive further than most of the others in our group, but there is no accuracy to any of it. I chose my driver (the shop had a driving range and we tried the discs before we bought them) because I WAS able to throw it further and straighter than the other used...
It probably would have been cool in a different, "fair competition" sort of way, but we actually all went with different stuff. Even if only slightly. The thinking being, that we'd slowly become familiar with each other's discs as we improved and eventually be able to compare and contrast.
For...
So, my friends and I have recently took up the sport together. We're all terrible, but each of us in our own way seems committed to getting better and not forming bad habits.
I know form is probably more important than discs, and I plan on recording some of our 2nd game and getting some...
