[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Official Thread) (Part V)

I have been using a neutron relay for my FD driver for quite a few years and really like it, but I do throw more understable discs.

I noticed Aim For The Chains started this post but hasn't been on the forums in 6 mo. Anyone know where he went?

    Step/Jump Putt rule change?

Maybe. I know if I am to far out for a regular putt I can step-putt and stay behind my lie and have a better chance at hitting the basket or having a better, more accurate upshot then I can with a reach back throw. Just being able to push the disc in a putt style makes a big difference. At least...

    Step/Jump Putt rule change?

From what I can see the only way to tell if a jump putt was legally executed is with video replay. And we all know that isn't going to happen in real time out on the course during a tournament. I don't see how it can be fairly called or ruled on the way it is now! My opinion is you should never...

    Step/Jump Putt rule change?

I didn't know you could go past your lie on a second shot in the fairway on a thousand foot hole? Jump putts are used to maintain a putter stance without having to do a "reach back" throw from afar. Players could still do a jump putt to their advantage without jumping past their lie.

    Step/Jump Putt rule change?

How about allowing jump putting to continue but you can't go past your lie period. None of this well the disc was out of my hand before my foot landed crap. No going past your lie no matter how you get the disc to the basket!

People who play like disc golf zombies

    New putter for better putting

When this happens to me I know its totally mental so I carry two different putters. I putt with my regular putter unless things go south:\ Then I will pull out my backup and I can usually get good results first putt with backup, but not all ways.

    "Single throw" elbow/forearm

I threw about a 100' approach shot with a putter and hyper extended my arm and felt it instantly and fell to the ground. I tore my rotator cuff tore my bicep muscle and flipped my bicep muscle up side down. All in one throw. Its been 3 years and I am back to 100%. Been a long road!

    [MVP] MVP Wave

My main 2 distance drivers are a *shryke and a neutron wave. I throw the shryke when everything is "clicking" and feeling good with my power and form. I throw the wave when I am not getting full power on my throws. The wave seems 2 fly straight and far with out as much power. Very forgiving for...
