With a flight between a Valkyrie and a Firebird, you don't need to be a genius to recognize that the [9|5|-1|2] Savant is a wise choice. Add 3+ discs and enter 'highdiscgolfiq' to try an F2 Halo Star Savant for FREE!!! Link for details...
It seems like the decent star discs have either been halo or gstar in the last year or so. Maybe it's just me but only a star RR has made the bag lately.
Last week's shryke is gorgeous. I still haven't tried out the Xmas RR halo freebie.
The [9|5|-4|1] Roadrunner is a favorite of both Pros and Josés alike, and in our bright, grippy Halo plastic it can handle some extra heat. Add 3+ discs and enter 'correcaminos' to get a Cinco de Mayo-themed F2...
Finally got some decent pics and circled the area that I'm having pain and swelling with either power or fan grips, since both release from that point last. Tape helps some but I have to fight through issues getting a clean release (and sweating it off in the summer).
Unfortunately, the power grip tucks the exact problem area into the inside angle of the disc to get ripped out from. I've had some success setting putters deeper into my palm but still too many throws come out like a wounded duck. Getting grip pressure on the leading edge of the disc is a 50/50...
No matter how I trim that nail it flattens where the disc rests against it and the area under and the cuticle to the side gets irritated like crazy. This point seems to always be the last part to release from the disc on all types of my shots. I've moved it all over the plate and have settled on...
Marked to watch this thread - my issue is the area a few cm from the knuckle where the nail meets the cuticle. I can't seem to avoid that point on either BH or FH throws (at least decent ones)
The moisture thing took us a minute to figure out, and when you first buy one you should gently wash the head in some soap according to the inventor. Production puts some type of gunk on there apparently.
I have a few others sitting in the cart, might pull the trigger.
The Shryke is one of the farthest flying discs available but in Halo Star plastic, it handles extra wind or the torque of big arms like a dream. Add 3+ discs and enter 'ilikemyshryke' to try an F2 Halo Star Shryke for FREE!!! Link...
I used some reward points to pick up one of the first run metal flake Racers. I had just lost a perfectly tuned destroyer so this looked interesting, but the one they sent is absolutely gorgeous and I can't bring myself to throw it.
