My First Disc Dyes! (shaving cream)

Pretty good for your first time! I use Pro Chem dye & cocoa butter in a ultimate frissbee with a heat lamp for about an hour & a half. IMO if you used a heat lamp it would be faster & work just as good. A little tip...Rinsing dye under hot water sets it. I use boiling water from the microwave to...

The Dye A Day Thread! (Part III)

Here's my 2 latest dyes using cocoa butter & Pro Chem dyes. The disc with the orange in the middle is a Gstar Boss. the other an R Pro boss. I still have plenty of good Rit dye & i'm sure it wouldn't work on R Pro...but Pro chem does! After dyeing the G Star Boss i just swirled the left over dye...

    [MVP] Glitch 1 7 0 0 The Gyro P/A & Catch Lid

Fission Glitch I just saw a video today ( forget site ) of someone who got a prototype Fission glitch, made with their fission tech where they inject air to lighten the plastic. He had a 138gm, & on comparison he said it had a higher parting line. It also seemed to be just a bit more concave on...

The Dye A Day Thread! (Part III)

2 latest attemps Here's my 2 latest attemp's at pan dyeing. One is a G star Leopard 3, & the other a Champion Toro. The G Star Leopard 3 was green so the yellow I put in the middle just made it more green. The Champion toro was purple, it took the yellow well but turned out orange ( OK by me )...

The Dye A Day Thread! (Part III)

Here's a few more i did. i turned the Berg right side up & just used the dye mixed with cocoa butter lotion. On the Star Mirage i decided to do something different & only dye the outer part. The sign vinyl i used is getting old, but i didn't think it would bleed ( Wrong! ). Next time i'll use a...

The Dye A Day Thread! (Part III)

first attemp's at pan dip dyeing Here's a couple of my first attemp's at dyeing with cocoa butter lotion & Pro chem dye using a large ultimate frizbee for a pan & a heat lamp. IMO Pro Chem dye is an excellent product! On disc's that are colored using Rit dye the colors have a tendency to blend...

[Innova] Spider is the straightest disc Ive ever thrown

while i like MVP/Axiom putters, i don't like there driver/other molds because the plastic while premium always seems slick & hard to grip. But thanks for the plug!

[Innova] Spider is the straightest disc Ive ever thrown

I was looking for a lightweight mid range since most companies only seem to make them in max weight. I have a 170gm Fuse i've been playing with & 169gm Skeeter. I wanted something lighter for my noodle arm. I just got a 157gm champion Wombat 3 today & compared it to PFN gummy Champion Spider i...

    [Axiom] Axoim Pitch

Has anyone else considered the Ohm? I have 2 & consider it the " big brother " of the glitch. With a rating of 2/5/0/1 is is torque resistant, has a lot of glide & comes in heavier weights than the Glitch...but can be found in mid 160gms. I'm still interested in the pitch, because of the...

    [Recommend] Replace my Rhyno

It sounds like you like over stable putters!? I recently bought a Champion & star Toro. They feel great in the hand & have a good grip...Plus they don't skip/roll far from the basket. I also bought K1 soft Berg ( the opaque grippy one) that sticks like Velcro when it lands! Hope this helps.

[Other] Post your most recent plastic purchase-Reboot

3 little piggy's... I bought 2 Mint Discs Sublime profit from Team Figgins (no affiliation). When i got the first 2 i really liked the feel. Then i decided to get 1 more, since everyone else selling them is charging upwards of $40!...and TF is still selling them for under $20 plus shipping...

    [Discraft] Discraft Flash Replacement

Have you compared them side by side? I have.

    [Discraft] Discraft Flash Replacement

the closest thing to a flash would be a wraith or a flow. Inertia is a good disc ( it's basically a Leopard ). Here's a pic of a Flash & wraith side by side ( Wraith on the right ). I did notice the flash being around 2mm taller...more glide?

    Fork grip

I've always used a fan grip because that's the way i learned ( most similar to bottom left pic ). I think i have the same problem & grip lock a lot. I have tried the power grip & really GL when i do! I recently i tried modding my grip to a three finger fan grip, & am getting a much smoother...
