Dynamic Discs Veteran or MVP Portal

Glad you are enjoying your Portals. I have played a couple of rounds on both Portals and Pro baskets. The Pro basket caught well but the “Championship” level of the Portals is definitely apparent with quality, longevity, and even just weight of the basket. I fully understand how portable or not...

Dynamic Discs Veteran or MVP Portal

Definitely like the portable wheel base on the Veteran. Was hoping to see the Portal with one since their video showed one, but none of the advertised pictures have a wheel base.

Dynamic Discs Veteran or MVP Portal

I have been looking at all of the top of the line portable baskets lately and narrowed the search down to the Veteran and Portal. Both of these baskets have many of the same features for the same price with free shipping. In the end the feature that interested me the most about both are the...

    [Compare] Control Vs. Fairway Drivers

    I like to think of of them like this: Fairway driver = 6, 7, 8 Control driver = 9, 10, 11 Distance driver = 12, 13, 14....

    [Question] 4 point? Terminology question

No, problem. Happy to help! Used to have a few back when I first started playing. Either gave them to friends, sold them or lost in action. Plastic type varies on these. Some are very nice finger print grippy and oily, and others are stiff and lack grip.

    [Question] 4 point? Terminology question

*the last one should be PDGA Approved.

    [Question] 4 point? Terminology question

Refers to how it is stamped. The name of the company. The name of the disc. The stability. The type of plastic. All in a circle on the points of the disc like a compass.

    [Discraft] Official Discraft ZONE Thread

Those Zones look great but I have to agree that the ESP Zones (slightly concave) are the ones that keep a spot in my bag!

    [Compare] Best Cycling Distance Drivers

Surge is great for cycling! I prefer mine in ESP.

    [Mids] Rethinking mids

My suggestion would be an Elite X Stratus. A true understable disc. Fun disc to learn too. Have had and thrown an ESP Meteor for many years and it is very workable on many lines, but it typically needs to be put on that line you want unless you are giving it some power and distance then it...

    [Drivers] Help with distance drivers.

Since you really enjoy your Surge and would like a little more distance I would recommend an ESP Crank. I use my Surge for control drives and the Crank for max distance (still very controllable).

    [Recommend] First overstable fairway driver?

You might want to go the Teebird route first before the Banshee. At the distances you listed a 170g to max weight Champion Teebird should do the job. Then when ready or if the need is still there then just add a Banshee.

[Question] Need Advice on a Disc

There are many fairway options that are good and not many you can go completely wrong with. With that said I would just keep it simple and have him get a Champion Teebird in the 160g to 170g range depending on what he prefers or you think will work best for his game. A Champ Teebird can be...

[Recommend] Skip disc compareable to Firebird!

I know mileage may vary by user. But I looked at inbounds flight chart to see what was similar to peoples suggestion of the Flick and I see that the Prodigy H1 is shown to have the exact same flight and distance. Seeing if anyone has experience with both and how they compare? Thanks!
