First time here, so forgive me if I don't have this down yet.
Yellow Z Force (175) - 8 or 9/10. Maybe 20 throws, just a couple minor scuffs.
Blue Blizzard Katana (132) - 7 or 8/10. Less than 10 throws but got a few scuffs.
Katana is traded. Looking for a Z Wasp for my Z Force.
I got a 132g BKatana a few days ago and finally got to try it out today. First throw (normal), sailed right and turned to a roller. After that, just had to keep adjusting hyzer angle to get it to fly straight. A few throws went further than I've ever thrown, but it was a pretty steep angle...
I can drive about 300 ft. Over the last couple of months, my drives are all-in-all much better. I used to have the typical dive bomb to the left, especially with the wraith, and my roadrunner would go pretty straight. Now my wraith seems to go as it should and fade at the end instead of bombing...
I won't go too far into my bag, but I'll list what I have.
For undetstable drivers, I've got a champion roadrunner and two dx leopards. For overstate drivers, I mainly use my star wraith. I've also picked up a z force and use that here and there for rollers.
Now come two other drivers that I...
For those who said Z buzzz, why that over flx? is the flight characterists different or just the feel? The z feels like champion plastic and i'm guessing flx is like star plastic but very bendy. I've held Z a few times in the store ($16.99, yikes), but never felt the flx plastic.
I'll start off with what mids/putter i have and what I typically use them for. I'm not very good with telling distances, so these are mainly a close estimate.
KC pro Roc - 100-175ft
I use this when i need to fade it left, but avoid it as much as i can. I think it's the plastic, but i don't like...
I've been playing on and off for about 9 months, but I'd like some opinions on my bag (and bag) and where I can improve. I can drive up to about 250 and 300 on a good throw.
Putter:
super soft Aviar putt and approach
--Didn't think anything would replace my birdie, but i'm taking a strong...
ha, actually i live in clearwater. i've been to clearwater disc store- i just don't want to make the drive 20 minutes up there (leaving for school on tuesday).
So my understanding was that someone would want DX to beat it in so that it would turn over more and/or for roller. if one would not want to beat it in, why not just get star? is the grip that different? sorry, this is still new to me.
I started playing this summer and didn't get to play much throughout this semester. I'm getting better and better, but still far from what I see other guys playing at. I can generally drive around 250' and can get up to 300' on a really good throw.
I'm using:
Star Valkyrie for drives
