My brother-in-law had me try out his Champ Spider for forehand tunnel shots, and I immediately went out and got my own. It's easily my most reliable disc for that purpose (though nobody else has mentioned it in this thread, so perhaps it may just be well-suited to me)
Welcome!! Your first paragraph is nearly identical to my own introduction (aside from the playing daily part, but I'm working on that!).
Where in the NW burbs do you play? I was just up in Waukegan today and thought about seeking out a nearby course but decided to just go home to some air...
I've had a 164 Fission Photon for some time now, and I just got a 165 Neutron Wave in today. I went out to a field on my lunch break to practice a new backhand grip (I'm a forehand chucker and always had minimal power throwing backhand, no matter how I adjusted my form). The Photon has...

Well, the disc I primarily used for driving ten years ago (z-cyclone) came through for me again today. Got my first ace in thirteen years today on Hole 16 at West Park, Joliet, a hole I usually hate. A nice welcome back!
I did have fun throwing around a Nuke SS. I had a hard Tim throwing it...
