Pros:

Paris Consolidated School is a tiny little elementary school located out in the country and surrounded by farm land. It also happens to have a 9 hole disc golf course at it. The course starts right next to the north side of the parking lot and winds it's way along the edge of the property in a clockwise manner ending on the south side of the school.

The baskets were Chainstars I believe. These were all mounted nice and level and catch great. One pin postition per hole.

The flow of the course is easy to follow. This is a course at an elementary school and I feel like it was designed nicely for that demographic. The holes are all on the shorter side with minimal obstacles to avoid. Well done in this regard.

There are tee signs here. They're your generic white fiberglass ones that are pretty common for WI schools. These have the hole # and distance on them. Easy to spot so you know where the intended tee area is. Always appreciated.

The tees are natural which is perfectly fine for a course of this length and designed for young kids. All tee areas were in good shape anyways. Not issues with these.

Cons:

The tee signs. as mentioned above, have no hole maps. This is pretty nitpicky, I know, as you can see pretty much every basket from the tee. But it's kind of odd that you'd spend the money on these then not even slap a generic map on them. Just odd more than anything.

The one gripe I have with the design is that every shot except for one is just a RHBH. And all the baskets are tucked right along the woodline. Any kind of misrelease will have you searching through the brush for your disc. And the brush gets pretty thick here.

As with any school course it's not playable during school hours. More a PSA than a con.

Hole 8's basket plays mere feet from a farm field. If the wind is up it's more than plausible that you'll end up in the field. The wife did when we played it. Luckily the corn was only knee high.

Other Thoughts:

This course serves it's target audience pretty well. This is definitely a nice course for kids or newer players. For anyone else this is just one to bag. It's not close to anything so unless you're in the area or willing to drive a ways out of your way it's not really worth your time. If you are in the area or need to bag it, it shouldn't take more than 30 minutes tops. Nice addition to the area, albeit an unspectacular one.
