Neglected, seems like nobody plays here anymore 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 5, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

Tee posts and baskets, ample parking, easy to find tee #1. Tee signs have distances marked, and are all still there. The grass was somewhat short for the first 3 holes in front of the church.

Cons:

All of the tee posts must originally have had numbers on them, but now about half of these are missing. The grass was 6" to more than 3' tall on holes 4 through 9, with no beaten paths between them. It is very easy to spend large amounts of time looking for discs.

Other Thoughts:

This course is not designed for what I assume is it's intended audience of recreational church goers and elementary school students. A pass or two on each of the 6 back holes with the bush hog parked by one of the sheds would have helped somewhat, but why have really long holes on church property?

Church Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 14, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

The course is located at the Central United Methodist Church at 301 Hickory Creek Road and is easy to find. There are plenty of eateries nearby. The church has a large parking area. The baskets all have numbered flags which make them easy to identify.

Cons:

There are no tee pads. Several of the tee signs are not numbered and the tee sign for hole six was misnumbered.

Other Thoughts:

This course is wide open with almost no obstacles.

Easy church course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 23, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a well-marked course with an informational sign at each hole. The baskets are nice, at least enough so to make this a passable practice course. It's at a large church, so there's ample parking. The location is near a gas station and several fast food options.

Cons:

There are no tee pads. There is very little shot variety; most shots are wide open and straight. Play is close to a parking lot for the first three holes, which could be a problem for new players

Other Thoughts:

This is a basic course that circles a large church. I assume it's meant more for church members than for the general public, so it's not a very challenging course. It's well-marked and flows nicely, but there's really no variety. Grip-it-and-rip-it is the name of the game. It does have nice baskets, so it's a perfectly serviceable practice course if you're in the area (as I was). But I wouldn't go out of my way to play it.

The first tee is near the back right of the parking lot, by a wooden gazebo.
