Moon Lake, PA
(Updated review from August 2008.)
The area's only true par 2 course.
The ancient relic will challenge your upshot game.
It' a true par 2 course that will challenge most beginner level players.
Shot placement is critical while putting into the blue buckets which will help...
Nocki was the best course I've played.
If you lose your concentration, the course would eat you alive.
I don't think I ever shot close to par there. But loved every minute of it.

That's a great example of lazy disc golfers.
Babe Ruth, Knute Rockne, Vince Lombardi, Wilt Chamberlain.
I rest my case.

These guys played Ike 3 courses, can't throw a driver over 150 ft, and can't putt to save their lives.
I would think if you've played 25 courses who would have heard of Ken Climo or Feldberg imo.
I do understand you're point, it's valid.

Our coaches had a player who didn't have a helmet participate in live tackling drills with other fully uniformed (helmets) players
My good friend lost / cracked four of his front teeth!
Our "coach" was arrested the next day
We didn't have a coach or scrimmage before our first game.
We...
I was just talking to some newer players on our local course.
They big fans of Udisc.
I mentioned Ken Climo and David Feldberg the other day.. They literally had no idea who either are or their influence on disc golf.
But, they're qualified to review a course?
Sent from my moto z3...
I've had similar experiences over the years too.
The one take I have is that the overwhelming majority of disc golfers are dysfunctional when it comes to anything disc golf related.
An embarrassment to the game, the course, and quite frankly themselves imo.

I'm an excellent putter. I was just giving you my opinion on how I became great at it.
Honestly, most newer players are afraid of putting. Why, because it's technical and repetitious. That's why newer players struggle with it imo.
Why would a player be confident in putting if they haven't...
It took me about 3 years to figure it out.
Confidence is the #1 component of putting. You can't be a great putter without it.
No more half assed releases. Put some spin on the disc. Aim for the chains, not the basket. Practice making a 12 fter 95% of the time. Then move back three feet...
Putting is ,90% mental, 10% physical.
It's all about technique and form. Find a putter and stick with that mold until you can consider yourself a good putter.
You can then screw around with different molds for conditional putting.

Absolutely. Your post sums up my frustration with disc golf tournaments and the PDGA in generally.
My suggestion: Men, Women, Am Men, Am women.
Plus the age restricted masters at 50 years old.
But,

The true professionals make a living off of disc golf.
Everyone is either an open player or an am.
How many professionals are there?
People who make a living playing disc golf.
