Spring 2014
The course has not greened out yet so now is a good time to play it. Cement tees and tee signs are in!
Big tree down on Hole #1.
I spoke with the course manager and he plans to finish cutting fairway trees and stumps before the end of May. Landscaping, benches and flags should be...

I think this is my favorite course
Great Michigan golf.
The property is pretty much unused other than the disc golf course.
So many different discs/shots off the tee.
Very challenging.
The rough is ROUGH in some areas.
It can be difficult to follow the first time.
I give it a 4.5 because it is...

Crowded!!
36 holes.
Fairly easy to follow.
A nice park.
Cement tees.
Way too crowded.
Very little variety to the wooded holes.
Poor layout--discs flying everywhere.
Huge groups of golfers more interested in happy hour than they are golf.
If you're going to Brewer plan on playing all 36 holes...

Nice tees.
Good signage.

I played Kimball yesterday for the first time in months and it...

Constantly improving
Fairly short and not too difficult. An experienced golfer should shoot well under par. Although there are very few opportunites to air it out the course gives a good variety of holes and shots.
Easy to navigate.
Located in a city park with playgrounds, bike paths...

Course Layout Update!!
The 18 hole Beach Course is now open October thru May. Much easier, shorter, easier to follow than the summer layout.
A good mix of shots with water in play on 5 holes. Some wooded shots and some wide open holes. Not terribly hard.
Slippery pads and mosquitos by the lake...
