Fun course in the summer
Good use of terrain, fun throws and big downhill hucks.
Several dogleg rights to challenge RHBH throwers. Pin placement on the crests and sides of hills can make for adventurous landings (beware of throwing a disc that will stand up and roll because it will roll a long...

Lovely course!
Variety of shots, terrains, angles
2 sets of baskets
Gorgeous views
Hospitable church building and portapotty
Still needs some improvements in pin to tee signage but most of the issues previous reviewers have pointed out are now addressed!
This is a gem of a course! It was a...

Why?
Variety of shots, elevation changes.
Layout is terrible.
Layout is dangerous.
Layout is confusing.
Fairways should never cross public pedestrian paths. Ever.
Tee boxes should never be in the previous basket's landing area. Ever. For any reason.
Fairways should not cross each other. Ever...

Fun for a power lunch
Beginner-friendly but requires a variety of shots. Fairways nicely-shaped by woods that can be thick in places to penalize errant tee shots. Course is clean and in decent condition, and while it is missing signs the layout is intuitive for the most part with a nice map on...

Very busy
Nicely-shaped fairways
Multiple pin positions
Some alternate tees
Clean, and fairly well marked
Nice signs
Well-groomed
BUSY. Several fairways cross bike paths, baskets are too close to the next tees in several cases. Back half of the course has a couple of basket-to-tee paths that...

Oldie but a goodie
Unforgiving, will challenge all skill levels.
Course is well kept and worth the price of admission.
Nice mix of elevation changes, open and tight fairways, water hazards and deep brush hazards.
Signage and baskets in good condition and course is well-marked.
Older tee pads...

Love it!
Lots of technical shots, forces you to shape shots and use multiple discs due to varying lengths. Challenges even the most accurate arms but plenty of opportunities even for beginners.
Course is well maintained (which is to be expected when we have to pay to play) and the yearly...

Nice layout but needs work
Very challenging, nice mix of open and tight wooded holes with lots of elevation changes. Adequate signage and most tee boxes in good condition. Nice baskets with multiple pin positions. Some pin positions present serious risk/reward choices!
The course needs steps...

Needs new signs but great course
This is the only free course in the Michiana area. Rolling terrain and mature trees with tucked-in baskets make for a challenging course.
Signs are vandalized/deteriorated so making your way around can be tricky if you don't already know the layout. The road...

Hope to play again!
Great layout, very challenging, good use of up/down and different foliage. Long tees offer much more challenging course. Requires many different shots.
Very muddy, not well marked (although trails make it fairly obvious).
Could use wood chips and better signs...

Fun little course
Alternate tees on every hole. Good use of elevation changes and available trees/stream.
Park is a bit crowded with holes stuck between picnic areas, roads, and playgrounds. Long walk from #3 to #4. Baskets are old and some have bent baskets that can result in discs falling...

Very nice
Great use of ball golf course terrain plus surrounding wooded areas. This course has everything - long bomber holes, technical wooded holes, elevation changes, water hazards, etc.
Two sets of tees on most holes - back tees were very challenging.
Very well marked even though there...

Love having a course in Decatur!
This course has a lot of fun holes. It rewards distance more than accuracy - in general it is very open. There are two holes I would consider technical - #9 and #16.
The course opened during a drought and now the leaves are coming down - I think it will be a...
