If we're talking discs that make me smile when I throw them, it's the Paradox and Tilt. I love some of the crazy shots I can pull off using them to get out of jail. BUT, they're pretty much only used when I've made an error, so if we're talking discs that come out a little more often, it's...
Family friendly 9 holer seems like the only way to go after seeing the land. Prior to the screenshot I was going to suggest using the resources of an 18 hole course to create a really top notch 9 hole course that could play like 18 (2 tees, 2 pins, etc...) but I just don't see a way to do that...
Appreciate the recommendation. I do love the Repto stuff I have, so it may be time for another order. My Stego now goes a whole 5' after leaving my hand before diving for the earth, so it's probably time to replace it with something less broken in. :p
Maybe. I have a max weight Champ Tern I'll have to try to compare to a Wave. For me the Wave has always been a reliable, huge S-curve driver whereas I throw 159-161 Star Terns for pure, easy max-D. For me those Terns are a nightmare to control in any wind, but they go forEVER!
I think this...
Simple answer: yes. The more challenging the course, the more impressive the victory. I'm assuming we're talking in a tourney situation, where multiple rounds mitigate against a lucky, one off type victory of course.
Agree. Eagle-X is such a fun disc. 167-9 is my preferred driver weight and Eagles in there do different things (for my arm) than the max weight ones that are beefier.
I've always wished I could find a mid that gave that hard S-curve. I know the physics of discs argue against this being a...
Probably not the cheapest or most effective solution, but if you have a friend with an ionizer they do a great job. I bought something similar to this...
At the speed of a putting stroke, even a hard spin putt, you're not really reaching that full -4, and I'm sure you already know that. Something that starts at a -1 in base plastic will pretty quickly beat in to be even more US. I have a Proxy that is totally unusable for me because it's...

I'm TIRED!!! :)
Concrete Tees on every hole
Baskets in decent shape
Abundant elevation is used well to create risk/reward shots.
Adequate trash cans throughout the course
A few benches here and there
Other than 18, the course seems to be in an area exclusively for disc golf.
More benches...
Quick update: Adding water works!
Long version: but it's confusing! The colors that looked significantly more vibrant on the glue bed (yellow, and Meadow Green) are slightly better on white star plastic than they've been in the past, but not as dramatic as the color on the glue made me...

Excellent contrast to other Central Ohio courses
2 sets of tees, good quality baskets, and plenty of parking, so all the basics are present.
Several unusual holes for Central Ohio, and holes that force you to use every shot in your bag.
Variety of hole types ensure a good experience for...

Very good course.
Good variety and several unique holes such as 4 and 8 where the basket is usually set on a hillside below the grade of the hole, and hole 5 with the basket on a pyramid made of railroad ties.
27 hole layout lends itself to an interesting number of ways to play the course...

Still underrated, but seeing the play it deserves now.
2 sets of concrete tees for most holes
Forces lines, but also provides options as far as WHICH line you take. The course was fair and balanced for both righties and lefties or backhanders/forehanders.
Beautiful scenery, and unusually...

Worth the drive
The Nati Disc Golf pro shop! There are lots of pros to this course, but this is what pushed it up to a 4.5 for me.
Decent variety of shots needed to succeed.
Solid, concrete teepads that are appropriately long for the holes
Good to decent tee signs. They do tend to...

Good technical course
Good variety with a tight wooded layout up front and some more open holes further back.
Concrete teepads
Good number of trash cans ensures that the course is clean.
Multiple tee and pin positions on most holes.
Signs are out of date, and do not show alternate pin...
