Thanks for the thoughts. I believe Atlas will release a Pro version soon in heaver fabric. The big complaint about the bad is that the discs fall out if the bag tips over.
I'll add that I'm a big fan of wash-in wax based water proofing over lamination. Lamination always fails. Wash-in can be...
Unfortunately this knowledge doesn't seem to help me as I almost always manage to throw directly into the hill in front of me as if there is no elevation. Maybe Elon has an altimeter-equiped chip I can have implanted.
A high accuracy altimeter seems like a good choice. Pretty expensive.
What's the biggest elevation drop or gain in a single hole? You could do a decent job with a laser and plumb line on a pole.
I can totally see into the future when the app has you "move the disc in a figure 8" for 30 seconds to recal. That will make the current model obsolete, lol.
Aren't most of these gyro chips self calibrating in some way? Like, they can get off and then they have a way of resetting themselves? Like when you have to calibrate a phone compass or astronomy app?
Getting at the idea that they may get wonky and self correct, and if you get date while they...
Couple of things I forgot. Elastic. It's going to fail quickly, so these mesh pockets with elastic are meh. Also, considering the Discology bags, but not sure which one.
I bought a Qogir brand bag a few seasons ago (Fall of 2022). It is having some issues, and after playing a tournament in a steady rain, I can see needing something less basic.
There are some things I generally don't like in a bag. Laminated nylon is one of those. I've seen delamination on a...
I think you've got to be able to see form before you can learn. I think every advance I've made is because I've been able to perceive something that I was previously looking at but couldn't really see.
Part of the issue I have is having to run down so many red herring tips that are ultimately...
Jawbreaker breaks in to a more neutral disc pretty quickly, which gives it more distance. I like the feel of that plastic, too. Pair that with a Z and it's an interesting pair—very different flights, same disc.
I've recently added a lighter Halo Roc3, which is actually nice and flat. That will...
It's amazing to me how much I lean on my Jawbreaker Zone for forehand ups and short wooded drives. I have to make myself work with backhand ups or risk losing my touch.
mine started delaminating on the layers around the top of the toe box. Glueing them back down was a mistake as that cause the whole fabric to start to rip from the extra friction
I loved the feel
