both of which have hosted many championship events in the past. This will be a PDGA B-Tier event drawing in professional and amateurs from all over the southeastern United States.
There will be a players pack for ALL amateur contestants.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE AND ENCOURAGED ON PDGA.COM
If you pre-register you must still check in either Friday evening at Bud Hill or Saturday morning at Valentine Park.
Registration:5-9pm Friday evening and 7:30-9:15 Saturday morning
Players meeting is at 9:30 at Valentine Park.
Tee off at 10 am Saturday at Valentine Park.
Entry Fees:
$60 all Pro divisions
$50 all Advanced Amateur divisions
$45 all Intermediate Amateur divisions
$35 for Recreational Division.
If you are not a current PDGA member an additional $10 fee will be added to your entry.
PDGA Memberships can be purchased at Registration. This is the first of many PDGA events in our area (to be hosted by Grass Roots, Circle 3 and Arkansas Disc Golf and the NPC Tour) and we encourage you to purchase your annual membership. There are alot of benefits to being a current PDGA member.
$3.00 of each entry fee goes to the PDGA
$3.00 of each entry fee goes to Bud Hill Disc Golf Course.
All entrants must play within their qualified division unless they are moving up. PDGA ratings will be checked and enforced.
All PDGA rules apply
This will be a 100% payout event. Meaning enough sponsorship and added cash will be raised to offset sanctioning and park fees.
There will also be an optional ace pot for all divisions. $5. Any aces hit during play will win an equal share of the pot.
Schedule of Play:
All Pro and Advanced Divisions: Will play both saturday rounds at Valentine Park and Sunday at Bud Hill.
All Intermediate and Rec Divisions: Will play Saturday morning at Valentine and Bud Hill Saturday afternoon. Sunday will be at Valentine.
There will be a final 6 for the top 4 professionals and ties that will be included in the final totals for the championship.
This will be a great time for amateurs and novice players to come out and learn from the Pro's and watch some amazing golf.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Primitive Camping (no water or electricity) are available at both Valentine and Bud Hill.
Shelby Forest State Park: has both primitive camp sites and cabins available for rent. The forest is only a short drive from Bud Hill.
There are also a few hotels in Millington which is halfway between both courses.
Lunch will be available at both courses on Saturday for a reasonable charge. And saturday evening at Bud Hill.
