Beautiful course on private lodge property on the Colorado River. The design uses natural features like box canyons, redrock, and desert space. Play across boulder fields, balanced rocks and down cliff faces. Tough on discs. It can be hot, bring lots of water.

Rooms ($135.00 per night, two night minimum) Camping is $5 per person, per night. Disc is $5 per person, per round. Campers have a propane grill, bathroom with sink and toilet. No showers but there is a river.

There is a map in the box next to the front door. If I'm not here put money in mailbox on pole behind you. In addition to the aerial map that was done by a surveyor with both horizontal and vertical distances from tee to basket I'll give you a walkie-talkie and if you can't find a tee or basket call me and I'll help you. It almost never happens, but occasionally. While you may run across all kinds of wildlife on the course the only ones I care about are mountain lions and rattle snakes. You see either of those call me on the walkie. I'll come catch the rattle snake, the mountain lion is a bit trickier.

Be prepared to hike. Lots of up and down and scrambling over rocks. I have seen people use carts, but it doesn't seem like the best option to me.

Local Directions:

From Moab take Kane Creek Blvd. Base Camp is 17 miles from McDonald's, but takes 60-90 minutes. A 4x4 vehicle with high clearance is recommended especially for Hurrah Pass. The last 6 miles are unmaintained dirt/gravel road. Rock slides, flash floods, and other weather can change road conditions significantly. Call Tom at 435-260-1783 for updated road conditions before driving out. Also, keep in mind that there is no cell signal once you arrive, so either download the route to your phone or remember how you got in, so you can get back out.
