Perfect for beginners 2+ years drive by

Pros:
-Discatchers with double chains
-Course is well-maintained
-This course offers lots several good elevated holes.
-Secluded! I played during the off-season and barely saw anyone.
-Well-suited for beginners.
-Plenty of ace opportunities.
-Plays as a loop with hole 9 ending back at the parking lot.
-Good flow, holes are logically placed with good spacing between tees and baskets.
-Course is well-maintained

Cons:
-The basket for hole 7 was hit by truck (per the camp director) and is leaning.
-VERY short most holes in the 150-225ft range (With the exception being hole 1). There are no holes where you can air it out.
-Natural tees, some with roots, rocks, etc.
-Tees are hard to find! There are no signs, all holes are marked by a wooden plank, painted orange, with the holes number written on them. I spent awhile looking for tees 4 and 8 (they were covered with leaves).

Other Thoughts:
Hole 1: Straight shot, maybe 80ft with a semi-guarded basket. This hole beckons you to run for the ace rather than laying up for the easy birdie.
Hole 2: Mostly flat, 225ft. The basket is guarded by trees and there is OB road on either side creating an island around the basket.
Hole 3: Downhill, hyzer around 200ft. This is a left turning tunnel shot with a large tree guarding the ace run.
Hole 4: 120ft uphill, wooded shot. You have to hit the gap just right to run the ace.
Hole 5: Steep downhill shot, 175 ft. This hole throws over an ampitheater that is currently under construction.
Hole 6: Very wooded, 175ft downhill hole. The anhyzer is the more open shot. This one is easy to over shoot.
Hole 7: 250ft anyhyzer, throws along a gravel road. This hole requires a well-placed shot as the pin is located on the right side of the road by the tree line. A bus that appears to be run-down was parked halfway between the tee and the pin.
Hole 8: 150ft hole starts underneath an awning and throws to a pin on a hillside guarded by several trees. This requires an accurate throw for the birdie.
Hole 9: 150ft hyzer throw that begins in the woods and throws to a basket located beside the parking lot.
This is a fairly wooded, short, technical course that is great for beginners. It also provides enough fun for the experienced player to keep you interested. I thoroughly enjoyed the elevated and wooded holes that this course provides. If you're passing through the area this is a good one to go out and play with a midrange and a putter. I shot -5, -6, and -8 in 3 rounds. -9 is definitely doable.
