Pros:

This course is awesome. I loved it. The park is HUGE and is beautifully taken care of. We came in from the wrong side so it was quite a walk, but it was totally worth it. The first half of the course has fun altitude changes and has awesome over-ravine shots. I'm convinced that there used to be an ancient theatre or something of the sort where holes 10-12 play. It's absolutely incredible.

The baskets were in awesome condition along with the fairways and the entire course in general. The grass was under control and even though it rained the night before, there were no puddles anywhere.

The design is awesome and I really think it utilizes the land beautifully. The people here are very friendly and really want the sport to grow (like me!).

Cons:

I really wish that there would be concrete tees. While the dirt tees were alright, concrete tees would definitely make it better.

The first 4 or so holes play in an area that has walking/biking paths around it. Be aware of pedestrians.

The walk from the first half of the course to the other one is really long. I'm an American and I'm not used to walking, so it was kind of painful.

The second half of the course in general was kind of "meh". It's really flat and basically plays through a prairie. Although, they are bonus holes in my eyes so it's not really a con and they weren't terrible, I definitely think the land for the first 12 was better. If the back 9 improved (which I don't think they can given the flat prairie land), I could definitely see myself bumping this up to a 4.

It was a little tricky to find and when I asked around, only like one in five people knew what disc golf even was. I was shocked that one of the care takers was convinced that there wasn't even a course in his park...oh well.

Other Thoughts:

This park is definitely, definitely worth checking out. It's really, really, really cool that Germany is finally getting some worthwhile disc golf courses and it's great to see the sport growing. I can definitely see myself coming back again if I have the opportunity.

Also, be aware that the course is tucked in the very corner of the park and it may be a little tricky to find. It's definitely worth it when you find it though.
