Pros:
- Your own private course for the day!
- Challenging
- You'll use a wide array of shots
- Stellar views
- You'll receive hole-by-hole notes and tips as well as a spoken orientation from Scott, the owner, which made playing the course the first time much easier than typical.
Cons:
- Extremely remote (for me, this was a pro and not a con but I suppose could be a problem for some)
- A couple of the holes kind of play on top of each other, which, if you have a small group out there like we did didn't cause any problems, however I imagine it could become an issue if larger groups and/or tournaments are held here.
- The only other cons are things that likely will get hammered out as Scott continues to develop the course, so I don't really feel the need to mention them.
Other Thoughts:
Scott is a GREAT guy and a wonderful host. His course is young, but already world class and will only continue to appreciate with age and tinkering. I would recommend this course to anyone who comes within 100 miles of it. Make a day out of it, play it twice, and enjoy the serenity! Thanks Scott!
