Scenic and Technical Course

Pros:
Scenic, hilly, and technical intermediate to advanced level course set at at a private retreat roughly 20 minutes away from French Lick Indiana.
Signs - High quality signs at each hole show a map, distance, par, as well as details on what counts as OB on each hole.
Baskets - 18 extremely grippy and new Dynamic Veteran baskets. Did not have any issues with spit outs.
Tees - 1 tee per hole. Hole 1 has an alternate tee in the island. Holes 1-10, 14, 16, and 17 are concrete tees. Holes 11-13, 15, and 18 share a turf tee with the ball golf course.
Navigation - I would recommend walking the wooded holes before playing. For the most part, navigation is straight forward once you find hole 1 and then hole 2. Next hole signs are definitely needed to improve the course, especially after holes 1, 5, 9, 12, and 15.
Variety - Course has every style of hole. Everything from long and open to short and technical extremely hilly and wooded. 2-7 play uphill and downhill in the woods. Holes 2, 11, and 13 are blind shots. Hole 8 is wide open 705 foot hole. Holes 13-16 play on the side of a hill though the woods. Course ends with a shot over a small lake. It is definitely a well designed course going from open (hole 1), to woods (2-7), to open (9-12), to woods (13-16), to open (17,18).
Safety - Holes 1-10 and 16 have are on land solely for disc golf. The other holes share tees and fairways with a private par 3 course. Safety isn't an issue if the ball golf course is empty. Bridges / paths when needed.
Only course within a 20 minute drive. Several other courses are within a half hour.
Private - You would likely be the only one on the course unless there are ball golfers. It is peaceful, scenic, and quiet.
Definitely worth the drive. The views/scenery on the course and while getting to the course are incredible.

Navigation could be tricky at times. Next hole signs are definitely needed to improve the course, especially after holes 1, 5, 9, 12, 14, and 15. I was on site for a bachelor party. The closest basket was hole 12. A friend told me where the tee for hole 1 was located. I walked the course prior to playing to make life easier. I made a course map and uploaded it.
No trash cans nor benches on site. Pack in / pack out. Take your trash with you. Be respectful of the owners as they definitely put in a lot of work on the property to maintain it. A few benches along the way would be nice, especially since the course is a 2.5 mile walk.
Course is out of the way. With the distance between other courses, it would be challenging to make a trip out of it unless you are staying on site or in the area. There is a new course in French Lick

Other Thoughts:
This course was awesome. I knew about the course prior to arriving at the bachelor party and it exceeded my expectations. The drive to the course was enjoyable and was a very peaceful location.
Dual tees, next hole signage, and a few benches would bump this course up to a 4.5.
I would recommend this course to any intermediate/advanced level player. Beginners would definitely lose a disc. If back in the area, I will likely play this course again depending on time.
