Something to do on your drive 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 10, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Its very close to I35
-Baskets are very nice with hole number labeled on it (Which is needed because two baskets are close to each other)
-Not busy
-Holes 5-9 have enough trees to keep you honest.
-quick play

Cons:

-If they still use the baseball and soccer fields, which almost looked abandoned, it would make the first 3 holes unplayable during a game.
-Hole 5 and 9 have potential buildings as obstacles
-Hole 4 you have to throw across the park driveway

Other Thoughts:

This is more of a "why not?" course. If your driving through and feel like stopping why not stop. You wont walk away impressed but you also wont walk away regretting it either.
*hole 5 can be a little deceiving. You can see 3 reasonable baskets for the shot. Go for the middle one just to the left of the building.

Small but alright 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 26, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

-small town so traffic is probably going to be minimal
-very close to i-35
-plenty of ace runs
-holes 4-9 are reasonably wooded and somewhat challenging
-Baskets are nice
-4-9 have decent signs with map, par, and distance
-4-9 also have nice tees
-Neat, clean and quiet park overall
-Parking lot and bathrooms in the middle

Cons:

-Small!
-First three holes are open and pretty short, 3 is probably over 300 ft tho
-Tornado damage at the time of this review
-4-9 holes criss cross and would be dangerous with multiple groups playing
-If baseball field or play equipment has people on it they will be in the way
-1-3 aren't marked well
-Lots of bugs when I went

Other Thoughts:

This course is playable, nothing too exciting but is also not going to be the worst disc golf experience of your life. I'm going to say it's worth a stop if you have plenty of time but if you're on a schedule pass it by and play others.
