Pros:

-- Beautiful setting in a city park with trees and a creek.
-- Two tee pads per hole, although red are so short (15 holes shorter than 200 feet) that only small children and true beginners will enjoy them.
-- Mostly shorter course (11 holes less than 250 feet from blue tees) that uses trees and water to add challenge. No. 6 is the best example: 170 feet with the tee surrounded by trees/bushes and the creek 12 feet behind the basket.
-- Three par-4 holes (490 feet or longer) with significant trees on two of those three holes. Those two (7 and 8) play parallel to the creek, making them fun/challenging holes.
-- Fabulous looking tee signs with all of the basic information (distance, par, map) and arrows directing you to the next hole. The tee signs also include warning about dangers from/for other holes. It's good that those are there, but it is bad that they are desperately needed.
-- No. 16 is the best hole on the course: 260 feet through trees, with most of that distance over a pond. The basket is about 20 feet from the water. Challenging but fair.

Cons:

-- Navigation and safety go hand-in-hand. Hole one starts with a dog leg right and then you have to walk halfway back through the fairway to get to hole 2. You also walk through hole 1 after No. 10 to get to No. 11. The hole maps on the tee signs are oriented basket to tee, so they are not intuitive. Add in a walking/jogging path and some picnic tables, and you've got a lot of potential for danger.
-- Distances for red/blue tees are reversed on the No. 18 tee sign, at least according to the pictures on this site.

Other Thoughts:

-- No. 18 plays as a clown's mouth with the basket surrounded by fencing and everything outside of the fencing as OB. Some people will like it, but it feels gimmicky to me and more like a putt putt course than a regular course.
-- People in the area might be afraid of "420." No. 4 is listed as 419.5 feet on the tee sign.
-- I played the course a few days after the county fair ended. The course shares space with the fairgrounds/park, and three baskets (and perhaps some tee signs) were missing and appear to have been pulled to make room for RVs and other parking during the fair. I HOPE those are being restored, but I live more than 100 miles away and won't likely be in the area again any time soon.
