Great signage. It appears confusing at first because a second sign has been added to each hole and the new 9 does not play as some variation toward the same pin (often, you will have to tee off perpendicularly to some other basket, which made for a great design that utilized each of the 9 baskets twice).

Exceptionally challenging design with some length and extreme elevation changes that make judging distances difficult.

Great baskets in excellent shape.

A beautiful setting, modestly wooded and near a small town with amenities such as snacks and beverages.

Easy to find on a main highway, which is not an obstruction to play or even heavily travelled or noisy.

Cabins and other structures are in play and it would probably be a hazard to campers to play during their season

No concrete tee pads.

The red and blue are not alternate placements (the red was confusingly always a longer distance, when red is ALWAYS the shortest tee in golf). This is because they did not measure a direct distance from tee to pin and illustrated a righty and a lefty line (so the distance is probably an average of the two).

Dangerous footing in winter, even if there are no campers.

Parking is as far as you can be from the first tee. I would suggest parking in the back lot behind the church and starting on hole 4 (which also makes for a better pair of finishing holes for more drama in a close match).

Now that it has been expanded to 18 holes, it is well worth the trip to this park.

Because each of the baskets is numbered 1-9, the maps makes the back 9 confusing by telling the player to play to #10 (which is actually the basket for #8) and so on because the tee signs are not oriented in the direction of the new basket but placed under the front 9 sign in the direction of the original hole's basket (thus making the roads and buildings seem to be in the wrong places).

Given that they are numbered, it would be much more clear if the back 9 signs told you the ACTUAL number listed on the basket. It's confusing the first time, but easy after that, but I will still illustrate the back 9 for you with distances. The numbers you see after the back 9 hole number are the front 9 tee to the front 9 basket that you need to play to play it properly. Again, I would average the distances to get an accurate straight line.

- significant elevation changes
- challenging uphill shots can be deceiving and produce short throws
- course rewards accuracy and shot placement
- beautiful mature trees
- easy to navigate for a first timer with nice signage
- #9 is a unique and difficult hole to par (but fun)

- mosquitoes can be brutal
- framed tee pads often have standing water in them
- many buildings and often tents /campers to contend with
- errand throws can result in hitting cars, buildings, people, etc.
- too many blind shots for a campground setting

A fun course to play once in a while just to mix things up and by no means easy. Hole #3 sets up nicely for a big hyzer (rhbh) over the parking lot if you enjoy that type of shot. The basket is nestled within some mature trees and can make for a blocked approach or put to keep thing interesting... unfortunately the proximity of this hole to the parking lot can make it a little sketchy if cars are present. Hole #4 is short, flat and probably the best birdie opportunity on the course. Hole #9 tee's off from on top of a hill and calls for an accurate throw through a narrow opening of mature trees. This dogleg right is a tough par 3 as your second shot will likely be quite some distance from the basket.

+Solid elevation changes. These make for a lot of fun tee shots and tricky basket placements.
+Nice baskets- single chained but catch well enough. Not really an issue.
+Great signage, didn't really expect this at all but it made navigation a breeze.
+Blind shots are fun (see cons)
+Throw too close to cabins and potentially campers
+Pads are sort of gravel but are framed in and are pretty good to throw from, not too much distance required here.
+Big trees and a good amount of them

-Unplayable for most of the summer due to campers being present
-Blind holes can be dangerous and it is hard to know where the basket is even with tee signs for a first time player.
-Not a ton of length or variation in length.

+This course is designed for campers and camp visitors, not serious disc golfers. That being said, this course has a high fun factor if played at the right time.
+Don't play this course during the dates that the first reviewer mentioned, it won't be fun and could be dangerous. It was great the weekend that I played.
+I would recommend coming to this course as long as it isn't during the dates that campers are here. You will have fun.

Park by Church and go to basket #1 about 50 yards away throw up the hill to basket #2. You'll come back down after you hit the ones up there and throw down for 9 and back to start to finish at basket #1.
