Pros:

This course is behind a school, in the (mostly) unused areas around the other sports fields used by the school and community, as well as some backyards. It skirts the woods along one side for about half the holes, but is mostly out in the open. I played the first 9 while on the phone the entire time and scored a -6 without even thinking. It seems to be mostly well manicured, and has solid baskets, so a nice course for practicing form and putting mainly, which is a good thing. If I were a kid at this school, I'd be stoked to have this course in the field, for sure.

Cons:

Theres always something going on around this school, so you are constantly dodging pedestrians and kids to play. I've had to throw around or skip holes entirely due to spectators for baseball/soccer, etc basically sitting directly in the middle of the fairway. 7 will literally have cars parked within 3 ft of the basket during any baseball game, and 8 might be unplayable, too. Had some brats from little league even heckle us once. Folks have walked out in front of me right while I was winding up to throw. At #14, you are literally throwing over someones driveway. One of the days I played here, this family must've had a party, and I was throwing through a couple of pickup trucks praying I didn't hit someones side panel! There is also a corral next to the fairway for 18 for small children, too, and I've seen that completely packed with kids, which can be disconcerting for anyone that is unsure about consistency to throw. The next time that happened, I had my wife with me and we just skipped 17/18 entirely. Also, someone from the neighborhood's dog was hanging out here one day and went after a CE QMS I threw. I had to run after it to scare it off before it ate up my QMS! That last 9 is nicely manicured, but super simple and crowded up, especially in the last 4 or 5. Really jammed in there. What all this amounts to is... its crowded, and disc golf is an afterthought, so be aware of this and adjust your manners accordingly. It still fills a void in this area of Cbus, and will hopefully create a need for more courses in Grove City, which probably has some great land that could be used just for that purpose!

Other Thoughts:

If you are heading south on the road to the school, pull in the first drive for the school and park back as near the playground as you can. You'll see baskets, but this is the back 9. Walk to the right along the back of the school 2-300yrds and, just past the volleyball courts, you'll find tee #1. This way, when you finish, you're at your car.

Also, a local has started selling a massive amount of discs, new and used, out of the back of his truck here on good weather days at #1's tee. He seems a nice dude, and well meaning, and was willing to deal and trade, so thats a big positive for helping to grow the sport and change attitudes on this course!
