Other Thoughts:
Nice clean park situated near the city hospital and surrounded by neighboring houses. Parking lot adjacent to a sturdy pavilion which is where the course starts. I visited on a warm December day and had the course to myself with only a few pedestrians out for leisurely walks.
I love good park style courses that utilize shot shaping around large mature trees and for the most part that's what this course is. A decent 9 hole course overall, but it left me wanting a bit more.
Holes 1, 8, and 9 are short straight shot type holes while the rest are longer and more technical. Good use of the park for the most part, however be aware it's completely shared space as the course intersects the walking paths, roads, and plays along the hospital parking lot and around a playground.
Navigation is a breeze, and you could easily play numerous loops. Hole 2 is concerning due to it's design playing as a 90 degree dogleg left along the hospital parking lot, play cautiously. It scratches the itch as a course, but also falls short of being good enough for me to want to come back. If ever in the area though I'd not hesitate to get out and throw a quick nine.
