Pros:

A well-loved course that's the fun and busy center of San Diego disc golf.

-Amenities and Extras: A lot of good components here. The tees are weakest, a mix of rubber and small concrete pads. Great signs have all info, maps, and pin position indicators. Numbered DISCatchers. Lots of benches. There's a pro shop on site, an optional ace pot, and a great disc return system.

-Multi-Pins: Tons of alternate pin positions, which are all marked on signage.

-Maintenance: Real, short grass. Fairways had very little debris. Mulch was being spread over some greens during my play. I think this cultivated style is part of what makes Morley so popular - it's very pleasant.

-Community Feel/Vibes: One of those courses that has a huge community around it. Morley seems to be buzzing all the time, and a bunch of people all know each other. Comparable to Mt Airy or Sedgley Woods, the community center of their cities.

-Shot Shaping/Gameplay: Definitely a mix of better and worse, but on the whole it's basic shapes very well done with foliage and/or elevation. A lot of holes feature straight starts with varying steepness of finishing turns, which requires a surprising amount of finesse to choose the disc that stalls at just the right point. A generous number of gentle downhills are fun drives where you can enjoy the flight of the disc. Mixed in are some shorter ace runs, which tend to be more technical. While no holes floored me with their design, most of them were very fun and featured good variety.

Cons:

-Busyness: For me, easily the biggest drawback is how much traffic the course gets. On a Thursday morning playing solo at 7:30am, I waited to tee off on more than half the holes, and my round lasted over 90 minutes. I can't imagine playing at a peak time. I think you should expect to be waiting no matter what size group you have at any time.

-All 3s: Morley doesn't have any multi-shot holes, and its longest pin tops out under 500'. Not to say what's here isn't good, but a truly stunning course should incorporate more gameplay variety.

-Tees: Slippery when wet. Neither the rubber nor the concrete were grippy in the least, which definitely detracted from the gameplay. They also seemed to attract dirt, which contributed to the issue.

-Safety: With so many alternate pins, many are close to the following baskets. The back half also features multiple crossing fairways. Considering the traffic it gets, best keep your ears open for a Fore.

-Poke and Hope Holes: On my visit, four holes (7, 9, 12, 17) all felt like they lacked a true fairway, and instead necessitated a general shot and some luck. A blemish on an otherwise very fair design.

Other Thoughts:

Morley definitely reminds of other old community hub courses in other cities. It's lovingly kept, busy constantly, and features basic but very fun gameplay that attracts a wide variety of players. The huge drawback is the amount of traffic, but that's not an issue if you're enjoying a long round with good company. I confess I don't see why it's nationally known, but it's still Very Good.

~Similar Courses: Mt Airy Forest (Cincinnati, OH); Flying Armadillo - Big (San Marcos, TX); Sedgley Woods (Philadelphia, PA); Kereiakes Park (Bowling Green, KY).

Great Old School Golf! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 24, 2018 Played the course:once

Pros:

- fun shots (predominantly "hit your line for two" golf but those lines are a blast)
- good disc golf amenities (tees, signs, baskets, multiple pin locations, pro shop) and impeccable course maintenance (including rotation among many pin locations)
- although busy, it's dedicated disc golf property

Cons:

- busy busy busy! (i.e. wait times unless you're here off peak hours, higher than average chance of hitting or being hit by errant discs, crowded parking)
- holes are fairly short, though this is forgivable with the technicality
- holes are generally crowded together, with overlap to some fairways and several baskets located relatively close to other tees

Other Thoughts:

This is a disc golf only property on the northeast edge of San Diego's famous Balboa Park. The property itself, and the experience, is pretty unique. The land is crowded both in terms of the holes (cuz they've really maximized this space) and the people (I got here around 8am on a Saturday and it was jam-packed). There's a very nice pro shop where you pay an entrance fee and can fill any lacks in your bag (I bought a nice Z Undertaker here).

Overall, I found the atmosphere very casual. There were tons of disc golfers, and about half appeared very new, alongside some more experienced players. Everyone was having a good time, and the relaxed atmosphere may have contributed to wait times. I had planned to get here earlier and play twice, but I ended up taking off after one round. No regrets, but I left to hit up some other good (and less busy) courses in the area. From CCDG Ian Anderson's Google review: "... really busy on the weekends. Get there before 8:30 am if you can." I agree.

The golf is extremely fun. Some hole locations are very short, and it's "old school" disc golf -- there's almost always a good line that can get you a two. The golf is done well, and there's enough challenge and variation that it's a lot of fun. Terrain and vegetation wise, it's similar to most courses in area. There are slight changes in elevation with California desert-type trees that are big enough to create good disc golf holes. Fairways are grassy and/or dusty. I ended up tagging along with two different groups of locals, and it helped tremendously that they knew the pin locations. As a side note, this would be a great home course because there are so many pin locations that it can be a very different course on different days given many different pin configurations.

I find only 10 courses on DGCR with 100 or more reviews and this is Morley Field's 100th. The others are a Who's Who of longstanding, popular and even legendary courses, e.g. Flip City, Idlewild, Blue Ribbon Pines, Mt. Airy, and Beaver Ranch. In other words, this is one of disc golf's popular and beloved courses. It's a classic in a populated area, and it's likely one of the most played courses in the world. Of those other 10, only Golden Gate Park and Idlewild have been played by more people (at least according to DGCR). Whether you're a bagger, disc golf history buff, or just a fan of fun courses, you too should get out here.

Rating: I'm going 3.5 for "very good." The golf itself may be a bit better, but it's just a little bit too crowded (both in terms of population and space) for me to go much higher. Nevertheless, if I'm back in San Diego this will be the first course I play (during off peak hours, if possible).

Beautiful Morley Field 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 28, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

What a great location and setting! This park is incredibility maintained! The trees and brush definately come into play on most of the holes. Enough shot variety from big hyzers to low ceiling shots. There is slight hills throughout the course which add some character. Most holes are easy enough to get a par 3 on each. Tee signage was great, with stickers indicating basket location of which are moved weekly. Most holes have 4+ locations. Tee pads are a mix of cement with mats on top and worked well. Discatcher baskets in great shape with flags on top to indicate location and hole number. Pro shop on site with disc and snacks to sale. Nice scorecard provided with daily tag.

Cons:

Knowing that land value is at a premium in Cali, I would like to see a longer/bigger course. Most holes are on the shorter side, about 300 feet. Not much chances to really let your distance drivers to fly. A fairway driver would probably be sufficient for this course i.e. Leopard or even midranges. This place gets packed! I got there right at 700am and was first on the course but by the time I was done, the small parking lots was already full with about 20 cars at 830 in the morning on a Wednesday! A good course for sure, but also because there is a lack of good alternatives in the area. I think pay to play may keep some of the traffic down.

Other Thoughts:

Such a beautiful looking and maintained course! Everything was in great shape and well taken care of. I certainly enjoyed my time on the course and would love to play it again sometime. It has stuff to offer both a beginner and seasoned player alike. Longer length holes would help it out a bit. A really good course that gets used a lot for good reason.

Old School DG Done Right... For the Most Part 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Oct 27, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Situated in the northeast corner of Balboa Park, Morley Field is THE course to play if you find yourself in the area. It is an icon of San Diego disc golf and one of the oldest disc golf courses in the world.

Each hole offers beautiful, sculpted fairways with tons of different vegetation (my favorite being the Jacarandas when they're in bloom), and plenty of personality. Most holes offer a couple of different lines to the basket, and several different shots may be needed to get the absolute best score.

The pin positions are rotated weekly and there are between 3-8 different positions at each hole. The different positions are not merely cosmetic, but can drastically change your line or the throw you need to execute. Other courses may have different positions, but I feel they may only change the way the hole is played slightly. I feel this course is infinitely replayable because of the constantly rotating positions; it's like playing a new course each week!

Cons:

As others have pointed out, the crowds are INSANE. I'm not going to go into too much detail since they've been discussed ad nauseam, but I would like to address something that not many others have pointed out much, and that's the recreational nature of this course: I find that too many times I will hit my preferred line, only to have my disc batted down by a phantom branch or iron leaf. Some holes have too many random objects in the way, which can make the course feel like an unpredictable mess at times, especially holes 12 &13.

I also feel there are too many blind shots and criss-crossed fairways--seriously, you will never hear "FORE" yelled as often or as loudly anywhere else. But for the small amount of land they have, the course design is generally excellent, although I would prefer to see more open, long distance shots and less crossing fairways.

Other Thoughts:

I've heard people voice concerns over the parking lot situation. I've found a simple solution to this: There is a large parking lot near some baseball fields and an archery range close to holes 14/16. I don't even try to look for parking in the main parking lot and simply prefer to park in the back. Less hassle that way.

Ultimately, Morley is a blast to play, crowded as hell or not. Each hole has its own unique characteristics and defining traits which make each drive from the tee feel like a special experience. It's simply a fun course that I would recommend as my number 1 disc golf destination for people visiting San Diego--it's a disc golf experience unlike any other!

Pros:

- Seating on every single tee pad.
- I used every type of shot i had. BH, FH, OH, everything.
- Friendly Locals who let me join their 3some as i was a single and didnt know the layout of the course.
- PERFECTLY manicured fairways and greens. This course is is top shape.
- Well stocked pro shop.
- Bathrooms right next to the practice area and tee 1.
- Huge practice area with 3 basket to putt on.
- Well utilized piece of land for what they were dealt.

Cons:

- LOTS of people and crowds.
- Small piece of land, although the course was very very well oriented to utilize all the land.
- Pro shop is not visible from the parking lot and can be confusing where to go to pay for first timers if they dont ask the locals around the practice basket.

Other Thoughts:

All i can say about morley is wow. For the good and for the bad. As soon as i pulled into the morley parking lot it was a rat race to find a park. Very Very crowded course. They claim its the busiest course in the world, and it very well may be. The pro shop is not visible form the parking lot making it a bit difficult for non locals to find where to pay. Luckly the locals around the practice area were nice to point out where the pro shop is. The course was beautiful. Wonderfully manicured. Everything from long left turning hyzers, to thumbers up a hill through a gap. This course demands every type of shot! The only cons i can really say are that you are gonna be waiting on every teepad for the previous group to clear the green. Its a very busy course. Worth it? YES. The other con is that the piece of property they are situated on is fairly small, Although they utilize it to its fullest extent and really get the most out of the property, id like a few longer holes. Id highly recommend this course to out of towners looking to get in a round at a new course. Im very happy i played here and braved the crowds. I will definitely be playing morley again next time im in San Deigo.

Pros:

Unfortunately, I was only in San Diego for a weekend meaning I would have to face the crowds at Morley. I arranged to meet a friend there at 06:45 on a Saturday. I was amazed to find about 20 cars already there and the place a beehive of activity with groups already playing, waiting at # 1, etc. I had shown up on the Saturday of the their monthly tournament.
We were able to get our round started before the tourney and didn't experience any slow downs until about hole # 16.

There is a $4 fee ($3 weekdays) for weekends. They give you a little bracelet to wear showing that you've paid, like a hospital bracelet. The course is very well maintained and baskets are changed weekly by the staff here. Some holes have as many as 7 different basket positions. Baskets, tee pads, signs, benches are all well done.
Great terrain for a course. Rolling hills, just enough trees, some underbrush, nice variety of holes. Very pretty course.
The weather in San Diego is perfect for disc golf!

Cons:

I hate to rate a course down because it's too popular but that's the story here. Taking 3 plus hours to play a round of disc golf is a major Con in my book.
I can't see better players being challenged here. I'm a terrible, old Rec player and I should have shot even (ended up at +1). I have no idea which placement the baskets were in on the day I played.

There is no water. No epic holes in my opinion. No awesome downhills.

Other Thoughts:

My playing partner wasn't happy with Snapper's recent attempts to add to the difficulty of some holes by adding/planting trees. Having never played here before, I have no opinion.

I've heard so much about Morley field for so many years. After finally getting to play it, I was somewhat surprised at it's lack of challenge. Luckily, I played early enough that I didn't have the experience of waiting at every hole. Being the only course in San Diego, IMO, It's a very crowded, enjoyable intermediate course in the city with the most perfect disc golf weather anywhere.

Technical - a wide variety of shots, elevations, woods, bombs. Good people in general and a well stocked pro shop! The stoners and drunks can be amusing as well.

Cons:

Crowds!! This place is POPULAR! Expect to do some waiting. The drunk stoners can be a pain in the butt. Parking can be an issue but if you don't mind a shirt walk in there us plenty nearby.

Other Thoughts:

This is my home course and I feel pretty darn lucky. This course will help you improve rapidly with a requirement of almost all the throws available, a great deal of control, and never a shortage of skilled players to jump in with and learn from or challenge your skills with. The crowd can be pretty intense but with a laid back attitude you can meet a great deal if interesting people and have a great time. It is a pay-to-play course but I feel it's a great value when you weigh the benefits and consider the staffs value. The pro-shop is well stocked, and the course is always full of smiling faces!

Friendly Lines 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 1, 2012 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-Shots, lots of variety, as a 99% RHBH player there were a few holes I had to get creative with. One or two bombers mixed in with challenging technical shots. A few blind holes that I always find fun.

-Proshop/local club and players. Ive found most courses that have a great proshop and local club usually have more than a handful of helpful discers around. Morley is no exception, Ive gone solo every time and always ended up playing with a group of locals to point the way.

-Location/Weather, Played 2 early morning rounds on a sunday, slightly cloudy, perfect tempature, slight breeze...welcome to san deigo.

*UPDATE POSITIVE*
-participate in the ace pot if its going on, fun for only 25cents is usually hard to come by, two people in my group got cage on rethrows, adds more interest to a fun rd.

Cons:

-Crossing Fairway Danger, this is definetly amplified by the amount of begginer/intermediate players that are here, and the sheer amount of people playing at one time. Hole 19 is particulary bad, you pretty much need your head on a swivel as two holes are throwing over your head, and hole 18 throws back toward you. But there are numerous spots throughout the course where you really need to pay attention.

-Crowds, this doesnt really bug me a whole lot, but later in the day a 3 hour round can really start to be a drag, and most of the people i played with thought that wasnt too bad.

-Pro-shop Danger zone, as you are standing at the proshop hole 14 throws at your back, most people with decent control, or anyone throwing on a hyzer really shouldnt come anywhere near hitting it...2 different people actually put discs into the pro shop while I was standing there, the first time was almost comical because it was really slow and the guy behind the counter probably could have caught it, the second time 13-14 y.o. kid lasered a driver into it, not so funny.

Other Thoughts:

Overall a pretty positive experience, fun shots, great weather and friendly people, definetly a must play if you are in the area. With that said, I cant see myself driving past kit carson to go play morley again for a while, just a much more relaxing round with less hazards.

Pros:

- Concrete tee pads

- Some elevation
- Friendly locals
- Well maintained grass (you would have to really try to lose a disc out here)
- Pro shop is nice (discs and drinks)
- The weather is usually good
- Every hole has a ton of pin placements

Cons:

- Crowds (I played on a Thursday and had to wait a couple times so it wasn't bad but was told a 10 group line can form on a nice weekend day)
- Not very technical or long which is expected in an older course.
- Overlapping holes. You hear "fore" all game long, keep your head on a swivel. Also the end holes overlap badly, so much so that if you aren't an uber confident thrower the people on the criss crossing holes can mentally effect your throw... almost like throwing over water.

Other Thoughts:

I had a flight into San Diego and had some time to kill. Being from Oregon it is nice to play in a different area. It is also nice not to have to fight underbrush but as a result this course was a lot less technical than some of the local course in my area. It was great though. I joined up with some locals and they were very nice. I would have considered the course crowded based on what it is like on my home course but the people I played with said it was practically empty. The waits were never terrible and it was kind of nice to play a leisurely round. Definitely worth the drive out there if you are by the airport or in the area.

Pros:

Well maintained groomed grass course
Cement or Rubber (over cement) Teepads
Great Hole Maps
Great people, very nice.
Pro Shop was nice, w. bathrooms.
Great fun time in heart of the city.
Fairly easy course, very playable and par-able for everyone.

Cons:

Too short. Outside of 1-2 holes, i used a teebird or lower. (I have a ~400' flat drive).

Too much fairway overlap.

RE: Layout the day i played -
Overwhelmingly forehand oriented (RHFH) or "SL" or "Buzzz" oriented (Long straight, slightly tight line with NO fade).
Many hard hook shots (needed seriously overstable)

Other Thoughts:

Anyone with a 300' (flat) drive would be able to park almost every hole.

Beginners with any sort of proficiency should be able to get par on every hole.

Due to the limited amount of space, creative pin placements with hard hooks and space saving concepts was prevalent.

I am an above average player and the course required "loose precision"; the windows and line concepts were fairly basic and easy to hit. I scored a -3 on the first try. (*i play and score "all holes are par 3".) I am sure if i had gone around again, or played multiple times, i could have dialed it in and gone -6 or better. Almost every drive (for me) was a park or "almost" park.

I happen to be a very proficient RHFH player, and more than 1/2 of the shots seemed to favor this method. It reached a point where i got tired of throwing FH and i started using alternate shots (turnover, hyzer, etc). <- i really just wanted to throw backhand and let it rip!

San Diego is beautiful. This course epitomizes it very well.

I think i saw a few dogs on the course, so i believe it's dog friendly.

Entirely too short and too easy to give a higher ranking. It was fun and i highly recommend to anyone in (or visiting) s.d.

(to visitors) -
This course could be very fun with 3-4 discs IF you take a "not so serious", "i'm on vacation" attitude.

If you choose to play it serious, make sure you have a full array of shots in the shorter ranges. It would be a big ego stroke to improve your score with each round and look "pro" doing it.

Cons:

Gezzz what a busy course! I could have played it a second time while visiting SD but due to how busy the course was it was not an option. It makes it hard to get into any rhythm when you have to wait and always be on the look out for getting smacked with a loose disc because most fairways cross over one another. Lot's of bad language on the course when the huge groups of guys get together.

Pros:

Several moderately-wooded holes with elevation changes that rank with the best in SoCal. Good cement tee pads with signs that clearly show distances to the pin, with the current pin position marked in ink. Hole 11 is a signature hole and one of the best I've seen anywhere, with an elevated tee and narrow opening to a grassy field with several beautiful large palm trees. Excellent course maintenance, with several aerated grassy areas after rains in Jan/Feb. 2010. Course successfully integrates differing areas of park to create a multi-dimensional course layout that is often lacking in city park courses. Pay-to-play limits traffic, and the pro shop has drinks and discs at reasonable prices. Benches on most holes, reasonable privacy. Small steep hills make tee shots on Holes 4, 16 and 18 a blast.

Cons:

Holes 10, 13 and 14 (depending on the pin placement) are lesser wooded holes with difficult to spot baskets. A few too many holes are crammed into a small area at the end of the course, though all of the holes are fun. Basket occasionally perched on a high platform on Hole 5 is a mixed blessing. Not enough parking spots. Very crowded course at 10:30 AM on a Wednesday. Not a particularly difficult course, though some pin placements create some additional challenge.

Other Thoughts:

A great downtown San Diego course with a high entertainment value. Course map provided alleviates some minor navigation quibbles.

Pros:

Great variance in hole layouts offering a wide span in distance and direction of shots.
Very good use of available elevation on the property.
Huge number of different hole placements on each hole add even more variety to the course.
Good detailed tee signs.
Excellent baskets and tee pads.
Benches on every hole which are especially nice considering the frequent waits.
Well stocked pro shop on site with food and discs for sale.
Course is very fun for all levels of play, not too tough on newer players.
Regular tournaments and a good website to keep people informed.
Dual pads on several holes.

Cons:

Very over crowded even on what might normally be down hours on most courses.
Some of the pin positions seemed a little open and easy, overall the short positions play a little easy for more advanced players.
Especially on the front nine there's a lot of fairway crossing.
I would have liked to seen more out of the dual pad, only one seemed to really create a significantly different hole.
Some groups appeared to be as large as 8, and with so much traffic it can seem impossible to play through as a small group or as a single.

Other Thoughts:

Morley field was a really fun and entertaining course to play for the first time. Playing the course in mostly short positions did make me long to see the course stretched out more. But I did appreciate the huge number of cool hole placements I saw. With all it's amenities and interesting hole layouts I can see why some people rave about this course. The crowds only make you wish that it wasn't the only course in the inner San-Diego area and the course itself without the crowding issue would easily be a 4 for me. Definitely a must see course for anyone traveling to the SoCal area.

Great lost and found system (if you find a disc, return it to the pro shop and they give you a dollar, they call the # on the disc and when the person picks it up, they pay a dollar for it).
One of the top places rated by High Times to hang out in SoCal if that's your thing.
Benches on every hole
This course is for DG only.
You can rent discs at the Pro shop (if you are new to DG or didn't bring your discs on your vacation)

Cons:

Course is crowded which is the biggest knock on this place. Nearest 18 hole course is 35 miles away, so this is the spot to play DG in San Diego. There are many efforts to have more DG courses put in San Diego, but until that happens, this course will always have long waits.

The course is generally short, having all par 3's.

The course is in a small area, so many holes have shared fairways (15,16,18,19), with 18 and 19 playing down and back on the same exact fairway (depending on basket location). With that being said this might be the most dangerous disc course there is. With over 100 people on the course at peak times, (many of which are casual and may not know proper etiquette) and fairways being shared and holes playing very close, this course is extremely dangerous. Be aware at all times and also be courteous of other golfers.
Benches are a plus, but they are an absolute must as backup on holes can often be 3 or 4 groups waiting (bring a hackey sack if you're into that).
Parking lot is often packed (play as early in the morning as possible/weekdays to try and limit crowds)

Other Thoughts:

If you're lucky enough to be in San Diego, you should stop by for a round or two (please make sure you have plenty of time, as rounds can take 3 hours). It is advisable to play in a group, as it will help cut down your wait. The players are generally friendly and laid back. This is an excellent course which has a lower rating due to the wait and the fact that many holes are dangerously close to each other. There are many birdie opportunities on this course and the course makes great use of the landscape available. Many elevation changes and interesting basket locations. This is a moderately wooded course which would likely be rated 4.5 if it had a lot less traffic. A few blind holes that you should peak out on/have a spotter to make sure it's safe (especially back 9, probably about 13,14, where you shoot over a fence towards the pro shop, hard righty hyzer that is completely blind)

Pros:

-Fun course with lots of different challenges
-Many different basket positions, makes playing it multiple times a new experience
-Distances are mixed up so your not going to be playing multiple shot/long holes in a row
-Concrete tee box's
-Pro shop with good selection and some food

Cons:

-Parking can be hard
-Sometimes its busy and can take a while to play
-Holes tend to cross each other, so it can get interesting on a busy day

Other Thoughts:

Great course! Its awesome to have a nice course in San Diego. I would try to get there early in the day or a bit later to avoid the crowds, but either way you will have fun playing.

Pros:

-Spectacular course design. Lots of rolling hills and funky trees to shoot over, under and around. Most holes have significant elevation change and obstacles.
-Pro shop operators are friendly and knowledgeable. Here you can get maps, munchies and discs (even rentals!).
-A multitude of pin locations means every time you play this course, you have to take new lines. Over the last few years they have improved their frequency of pin rotation vastly.
-Nice signs. Clear and accurate.
-Grippy rubber and cement tees.
-Immaculately clean course, thanks largely to the trash cans at every tee.
-Many friendly locals
-Plenty of places to sit down and relax. Most holes have a bench.
-All baskets present and in good shape

Cons:

-The crowds, both in the parking area and on the links. Those San Diagoans sure know a good course when they see one!
-Medium degree of crossing fairways...watch your back and keep your ears open!
-Pay-to-play

Other Thoughts:

This course is an excellent piece of land that hosts an incredibly well-designed layout. If I was evaluating solely the course design, I would have awarded it a much higher rating.
While the crowded conditions slows play, the locals are typical San Diego types; friendly, always helpful and more than willing to guide or help out wherever they can.
In summary, this course is spectacular. so good that it was the only disc golf course in the area for years and years. If you get irritated waiting behind a pack or are in a rush, skip Morley. If you have time to kick back and enjoy one of the premier parks in San Diego and enjoy stellar course design, Morley Field will not disappoint.

Pros:

This is a very pretty course that is well maintained. Concrete pads on every hole with alternate pin placements allows for good variety. Every hole is a little different so you won't get bored. This is definitely not one of those courses where you will just throw the same shot with the same disc off the tee.
Aside from the course itself there is a little golf store on the course that has different items for sale as well as cold drinks. There are also bathrooms, which as many of you know are a rarity at disc golf courses.

Cons:

If you don't like playing a course with a lot of other players and waiting on average 15 minutes on each tee pad this is not the course for you. I played on a Saturday and it was extremely busy. In conjunction with that many of the holes are VERY close to each other with on pin being as close as 30 feet from the next tee.

Other Thoughts:

While the course is crowded and the design putting many holes very near each other its still a very fun course. There isn't a whole lot of distance so amateurs will have a great time playing the course.
