Pros:
Good tee pads
Park Map and Tee Signs
Nice Wide Fairways
Good maintenance!! (Most holes look like a ball golf course)
Not all Par 3- Several Par 4 holes that require a setup shot.
Restrooms in the baseball complex by Hole #1
Great variety in distance (205-850ft.)
Nice mix of open shots and technical shots
Tines of the baskets are painted to point the way to the next tee!!
Cons:
Liberty baskets (Hopefully they can upgrade in the future)
The Rough is very punishing.
Not a lot of elevation.
Some of the Tee Signs are wearing out.
Other Thoughts:
This course is challenging yet offers great risk/reward balance. Tee signs do a great job of showing where each basket sits. a basket tine is painted pointing in the direction of the next tee on all baskets.
Like most advanced courses, it can be confusing to navigate the course on your first visit especially with hidden baskets. But the strategic design is what makes it fun. I have now played this course a few times and I am impressed at how well it is designed.
The Holes challenge the advanced players with a variety of shots. If you are looking for a fun and challenging 18 holes then don't hesitate to try out this course. This is one of my top 5 courses!
