Pros:

- Plenty of parking close to hole 1 (Maybe not on game days)
- All Tees are leveled concrete (Hole 4 uses the asphalt walking path)
- Baskets are in good shape, #5 has recovered from it's mower incident
- Course map added at hole 1
- Signs have been replaced at each tee
- Baskets now all have hanging signs pointing to next tee
- Practice basket now by hole 1 instead of in 5's fairway
- River outlook with benches at tee 5
- Fairways are mowed short even when rest of field is growing
- Holes 8/9 & 18 loop back near the start, convenient for half rounds
- Despite that proximity, still plenty of space between them
- Rarely crowded
- This course uses it's relatively few trees quite elegantly
- Due to that shot diversity is surprisingly high
- Course is uneven enough to not feel like a plain field

Cons:

- No restrooms nor trash bins
- No real elevation change
- A bit lacking in the technicality department
- Course can be quite windy and prone to standing water/mush
- Field is used for hay, so non-fairway grass can get quite tall
- Said fairways can feel quite skinny on longer holes
- Hole 7 often has water in a low spot to the right, inside C1&C2
- Hole 16's tee is an obtuse walk out and around from 15's pin, not sure why they didn't just cut a short path through the woods

Other Thoughts:

- Although currently cut/clear, previously the entire right side of hole 15 has been waist high grass full of water/mud. Not sure if they intend to keep it cleared
- Course's lack of technicality can be refreshing next to the other wooded courses in the area
- A conductor's tower is by hole 1, but I've yet to see the band there
- Minimal shade, bring hydration/sunscreen when necessary
- Before now this course was fairly neglected, hopefully this revitalization is a turning point

Fun Fact: I almost stepped on a baby deer searching for a shanked drive in the afore mentioned grass by 15.
It declined my invitation to help search.
