Simple, short, little course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 1, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

* Baskets are in great shape
* Excellent tee signs
* Arrows point to the next tee

Cons:

* Holes are very short
* All holes are basically RHBH approach then putt

Other Thoughts:

This is a little course with very short holes that I played while stopping over in Laval. According to DGCoursereview it's only been in for a year, and that shows: everything is in excellent shape. The baskets are great and the tee signs are perfect. It's super easy to navigate even though there is no course map at the start. Some of the holes have obvious, maintained, fairways and rough areas which is cool.

The holes are very short. While I wound up +6 that's because my putting was terrible. None of the holes are that long and I'm not sure why anyone, even newbies, would play from the red tees. Many of the red tees could be straight up putts or jump putts for eagle, and I overthrew several holes easily, including hole 6 where I lost a disc in the long brush :(

Hole 5 was my favourite. It wasn't a terribly long approach shot but the basket is very nicely tucked into a ring of trees and bushes with a narrow window of access.

Holes 1, 3, and 8, try and make things interesting for what would otherwise be straight up RHBH shots. Hole 1 has a bunch of low nets strung up although they don't pose much challenge. Hole 3 has a bunch of big plywood walls in the way and a plywood wall around the basket. Hole 8 is basically an island hole.

Overall it's a decent little course that's in solid shape. If you're driving by and need to stretch your legs it's a quick 30 minute play.
