Pros:
-Concrete Tees
-Course in its own part of park
-Decent Baskets
-Trees a challenge, but not punishing, minimal elevation
-OK Signage (DGA Peel 'n Stick)
-Upkeep of Park is good
-Quick play
Cons:
-A little short, uninteresting for experienced players
-No benches / trash cans
-Road runs through/around course (in play on #1, #2, #3, #4, and #5)
-Holes #8 and #9 have been removed (2022)
Other Thoughts:
Prairie Bridges DGC is located in the "back 40" (western edge) of Prairie Bridges Park just north of Ackley, IA. A quick 7 holes that plays in its own section of the park. Lots of trees that make you shape your shots, but have a couple of options for each hole. Holes 8 and 9 have been replaced by more campsites, so it is down to 7 holes. Benches / trash cans and a map would add to the rating for me on this one. The 7 are OK, but quite an obvious afterthought in this park, hidden back in the very back. I probably won't play again.
